Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson On Her Wedding Plans And Why She Cried
Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson is spilling all when it comes to the details of her wedding and why she cried at the album release party.
Little Mix made an appearance on the British talk show Loose Women. The girls discussed their new album, Get Weird, out on iTunes. Jesy Nelson also revealed her upcoming wedding plans to Rixton singer Jake Roche. Nelson revealed to Coleen Nolan, who’s the mother of her fiancé, that they haven’t had the time to plan their wedding. Both Nelson and Roche are busy with their bands, so they haven’t even set a date as of yet.
“He’s just as busy as we are but we’ve been really lucky because if I’m not busy I’ll go where he is….We’ve looked at dresses and stuff but we’re so busy we have had time to plan anything.”
Colleen agreed with the Little Mix cutie, saying that there’s no need to rush with the couple’s budding music careers.
Jesy then admitted that she and Rixton “just enjoy being engaged” instead of rushing down the aisle. On the show, the girls also teased Little Mix member Perrie Edwards for her crush on Prince Harry. When asked on the show if she has a thing for Prince Harry, Perrie brushed off the question and said it wasn’t true. But then Jesy intervened, “No it isn’t, you said you fancy him!”
The dark-haired singer isn’t holding anything back, especially when it came to her public sighting last week. Nelson was seen crying after Little Mix’s album release party. Fans were concerned that it had something to do with Nelson’s fiancé, as he was seen leaving the party before the pop star. But Nelson and Roche shared a cozy photo with one another the next morning. The photo shows the two cuddling under the blanket with the caption, “Send bacon ASAP.”
Jake shared a similar photo with the caption, “Had possibly the worst hangover today. One of them where you want to hospitalize yourself and get put on a drip – but Miss Nelson fed me, hydrated me, sang me little mix songs when I was vomiting (last bit was a lie). The world is a better place with you in it, genuinely.”
Jesy revealed to The Sun that when she drinks too much, she gets a little sad at times. Because who doesn’t?
“Everyone gets drunk and gets emotional. It’s relatable. Everyone cries when they get drunk. We all need a cuddle.”
She also admitted that the rest of her Little Mix bandmates got a little tipsy as well, and that’s when the tears started flowing.
“I love it when we stick our heads together as a four. We were in the middle of a nightclub and having a moment.”
Jesy Nelson and the rest of her Little Mix girl group were celebrating the release of their third studio album Get Weird at the London hotspot Bodo’s Schloss. The 24-year-old singer was seen teary eyed as she was driven home. Nelson was seen entering a car with a female friend, while her boyfriend made his way to another exit earlier that night. An inside source told The Mirror that Nelson’s tears were brought on by her rock star boyfriend, causing rumors to swirl.
“The girls had been having a great night, dancing on the tables while bottles of vodka and Rick Ross champagne were flowing. But then in the early hours, Jesy and Jake had a tiff. Jake stomped off to a nearby hotel and Jesy was clearly sobbing as she took a cab home.”
