Wondering which restaurants are offering a cheap Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 26? There are plenty of restaurants open on Thursday offering budget-friendly turkey dinners including several popular chain restaurants like Cracker Barrel, Golden Corral, Denny’s, Country Buffet, Shoney’s, Boston Market, and Hometown Buffet.

According to the National Turkey Federation, 88 percent of Americans eat turkey on Thanksgiving day. Whether you are dining alone or just don’t have the desire to cooking a big feast at home, find a list of restaurants serving inexpensive sit-down or buffet-style Turkey Day dinners on Thursday, along with menus and prices for both adults and children when available.

In addition to the sit-down and buffet options, some restaurants, including Cracker Barrel and Boston Market, are offering take-out Thanksgiving meals that require no cooking. The National Restaurant Association reports that approximately 15 million Americans will go out to eat on Thanksgiving, so picking up your meal and eating at home may be a good option if standing in line and eating in a crowded restaurant isn’t your idea of a good time.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: The popular restaurant’s “Turkey n’ Dressing Meal’ will be served from 11 a.m. until close on Thursday. The meal is $11.99 for adults and $6.99 for children, up $1 over last year’s price. The adult meal includes one serving of turkey, stuffing, baked ham, sweet potato casserole, cranberry relish, your choice of vegetable, biscuits or corn muffins, a beverage, and a slice of pumpkin pecan streusel pie with fresh whipped cream for dessert. The kid-sized meal does not include ham or sweet potato casserole, and comes with a half-slice of pie

Take-out for Cracker Barrel’s family-sized Thanksgiving meal-to-go is $64.99 and serves up to six. The meal is heat-and-eat and includes turkey, gravy, a sample of Sugar Cured Ham, three sides, cranberry relish, and a choice of biscuits, corn muffins, or a loaf of sour dough bread. You must place your order 24 hours in advance and pick up between November 21 and 29. Holiday pies ($8.99), whole spiral and Country hams are also available for purchase.

Golden Corral is open on Thursday with a “Thanksgiving Day Buffet” at participating locations. Hours and prices vary by location with the price for the buffet hovering around $12.99 in recent years. The chain’s “Endless Dinner Buffet” includes the standard Thanksgiving fare —turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and pie — as well as a long list of other buffet items like steak, shrimp, chicken, macaroni and cheese, glazed ham and more. Old Country Buffet, Homestyle Buffet, Country Buffet are all open on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. The holiday buffet menus vary by locations of Ovation Brands’ buffet restaurants, but most locations will feature holiday favorites including turkey, gravy and all of your favorite side dishes. According to the manager of the Country Buffet in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, the holiday buffet is $12.79 for adults, but prices vary at locations across the nation.

Denny’s will be offering a “Holiday Turkey & Dressing Dinner” that includes turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, two sides and bread. Restaurant News reports that most Denny’s locations will be open 24-hours on Thanksgiving, so you can enjoy a plate full of turkey anytime. Prices vary by location.

Shoney’s has a full holiday buffet that includes turkey, ham, and a long list of side dishes. Get a free slice of pumpkin pie with each buffet purchased. Children 4 and under get a free buffet with adult meal purchase. Prices and restaurant hours vary by location.

Boston Market is open on Thanksgiving and is offering individual and family-sized turkey dinners for sit-down or take-out. If you need to serve a big crowd, you can order a heat-and-serve holiday meal that serves up to twelve. Prices vary by location.
