‘Real Housewives’ Divorce: Is Cynthia Bailey Pulling The Plug On Her Marriage?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey was shocked and disappointed in her husband after a video surfaced on Instagram that showed him getting very close and physical with another woman. He denied doing anything wrong and the video didn’t catch any kissing or inappropriate fondling. Regardless, it was condemning for the simple fact Cynthia simply didn’t know what her husband had been doing when she wasn’t around. The Real Housewives wives quickly questioned his loyalty to his wife.
Even though the Real Housewives of Atlanta wives had seen the video, they didn’t bring it up during Cynthia’s eyewear launch event. They seemingly wanted to respect her privacy and let her run the event as best as possible. However, it sounded like it was emotional for her to deal with, as all of her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars and fans knew about the video at the same time as she did.
According to the latest Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey could be contemplating a divorce from her husband, Peter Thomas. In her Real Housewives blog, Bailey revealed she simply didn’t know what the future would bring.

“Cynthia was humiliated on national television after footage of Peter canoodling with some random woman at the bar played out on RHOA,” an insider revealed, adding, “Peter spends nearly all of his time at his bar in North Carolina these days. The marriage has basically run its course.”
According to the report, many of her friends and Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars seem to be encouraging her to consider a divorce. This incident is not the first one that has put Peter in a compromising situation which has Bailey questioning his honesty. Just last season, Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks joked about Peter’s alleged cheating on an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“Cynthia and Peter lead very separate lives,” the source continued, sharing. “They can go weeks without speaking to each other. Cynthia’s mom has pleaded with her to leave Peter, and her friends think he is just no good for her.”

Bailey did reveal on The Real Housewives of Atlanta that they don’t spend much time together. She is focusing on her business, and raising her teenage daughter, while Thomas is spending him time in Charlotte to run his bar, Sports One. When the episode aired, Peter quickly went on social media to defend himself.
“There’s stuff all over the Instagram that made me look like a big a** cheater,” he said. “Ok, that’s not what it is. That’s a friend of mine in the club that I was talking to. It looks crazy, I know it does, so I’m apologizing to my wife, I’m apologizing to my two beautiful daughters, ok. Your daddy’s not a cheater,” Peter Thomas has revealed in his own defense. Another source chimes in, “How much more should Cynthia put up with? She needs to kick this loser to the curb.”
In her own blog for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia didn’t address the drama specifically. But, she did reveal that she was relying on her assistant to get through the drama. Rather than talk to Peter himself about it, she decided to open up to her assistant about it. As she reveals, this Real Housewives couple had quite the fight before he left for Charlotte.
“My conversation with my partner, Tiffany Williams, the day after the launch got a little emotional. Peter and I had heated words at the eyewear event and also later that night when I got home. When I woke up the next morning, he had already left for Charlotte. I was still very upset about how he behaved at the party, and although our call was supposed to be about our business, I just broke down,” Cynthia revealed in her blog, according to Bravo.
