Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles Pregnant With First Child

Country singer and Duets mentor Jennifer Nettles is expecting her first child with husband Justin Miller.

The 37-year-old Sugarland singer confirmed that she and her husband are expecting their first child together, due sometime near the couple’s anniversary, reports People. Supportive Tweets started pouring in early this morning causing Nettles to respond graciously, “Thanks for all the love and well wishes from fans, friends and radio friends and industry friends!” to all her followers this morning. “Y’all are the best and so supportive! Love!”

Sugarland band-mate Kristian Bush also expressed his support via Twitter, writing “Congratulations @JenniferNettles on becoming a mom,” late in the morning. “I love you.”

Nettles, a Grammy winner, is due in November around Thanksgiving time which overlaps with the couple’s first wedding anniversary. Nettles married entrepreneur Justin Miller in Nashville, in a chapel in the Smoky Mountains. They met in 2006 and dated over two years before becoming engaged.

Nettles is currently balancing her time between Sugarland and mentoring duties on TV’s Duets. On balancing her hectic schedule with her family values, Nettles said, “I try to travel to see them or have them meet me, but mostly it’s through phone calls and e-mail,” she said. “The one person I make sure I talk to is my mom — every day, no matter what.”

Congratulations from IQ to the expectant couple!
