Kendall and Kylie have been promoting their Kendall + Kylie collection in Melbourne, Australia, this week. Now it looks like the famous sisters are promoting another new clothing line in the meantime.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s Topshop holiday collection is slated to hit stores very soon. The line will include separates and dresses that will be perfect for wearing at holiday parties or at New Year’s Eve party. The items include trendy pieces like crop tops, lace-up bodysuits, maxi skirts, fur jackets, and metallic skirts. Kendall and Kylie Jenner explained their new holiday collection in a press release.
“We really wanted to showcase our personal style but mix it up with a holiday twist. The holidays are always so festive and of course, you have to have the right wardrobe for every occasion. We wanted to design a special line of pieces that capture both an elegant and edgy vibe.”
It’s obvious that the collection will reflect Kendall’s chic and sophisticated runway style, but will also have hints of Kylie’s hip and edgy style. The 15-piece holiday collection strays far from those ugly Christmas sweaters. The Jenner sisters said in their statement that the collection can be worn well after the holiday season.
“They’re super versatile and work for not only the holidays but basically ever season. Everyone looks good in a chic black top and pants combo. The varsity jacket is a good gift for all of our friends!”
But let’s get back to Kendall and Kylie’s appearance in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to their previous collaborations with PacSun and Topshop, the reality stars now have a new collection with Forever New, as previously reported via the Daily Mail. Kylie, 18, showed off a look from the collection as they promoted their new line Down Under. The youngest Jenner sister wore a black bodycon dress that is just under $200. The shift dress has a criss-cross design with a sheer panel.
Kylie hinted to her fans on Twitter that she would only wear the designs from their Forever New line. She wrote, “Everything I’m wearing on this trip is apart of the Kendall + Kylie collection. (sic)”
But while the Jenner sisters were promoting their new line in Melbourne, Kylie took the time to promote their new holiday collection with Topshop. This time, she tweeted, “Kendall + Kylie Topshop holiday collection dropping on Friday! Preview all 15 pieces now on my app.”
The Jenner teens may be taking the fashion industry by storm, but they still lack business skills. According to the Daily Mail report, the sisters showed up two hours late to an event on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
There are also rumors circulating that Kendall and Kylie Jenner were egged during their recent visit to Australia. Thousands of fans showed up to see the famous models at their special event in Sydney. Kylie even took to Snapchat to share a video of the screaming crowd. But it looks like things got a little out of hand at the event.
According to E! Online, the sisters were talking to the large mob when a 25-year-old woman threw eggs at them. The unidentified woman in question has been reportedly arrested and charged.
“Following an incident at a shopping center in Parramatta around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, a 25 year old woman from Punchbowl was arrested and taken to the Parramatta police station. She was charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer (she assaulted three police officers in total). The police officers were trying to arrest her and she resisted. The woman was also charged with behaving in an offense manner.”
Although reports claim that an egging took place, Kylie took to Twitter to quickly quash those rumors. She tweeted, “Don’t you think there would have been a video of eggs being thrown or even a pic? Just saying. If it did happen we weren’t there.”
As for the alleged trickster in question, she has been released from custody, but she will return court on Dec. 14.
Whether or not Kendall and Kylie Jenner got egged remains to be seen. Like Kylie said, there aren’t any photos or videos of the alleged incident. Are you looking forward to checking out the sisters’ new holiday collection?
