Yolanda Foster Shares Lyme Disease Post On Instagram Ahead Of ‘RHOBH’ Season 6 Return

Yolanda Foster is preparing for the season 6 premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and as she awaits the Bravo reality series’ upcoming season, she’s keeping fans in the loop with her Lyme disease struggles. Most recently, on November 18, the reality star and mother of three shared a post which criticized Centers for Disease Control.

Yolanda Foster’s photo meme read as follows:

“Where is the Disease Control? In 40 years since Lyme disease was first recognized, the CDC has failed to: Deliver a reliable test, create an effective multi-strain vaccine, curb increase in reported cases, control geographic spread [and] improve a treatment failure rate of 36%.”

“Still searching for a cure……. #LymediseaseAwereness #facts @lymestats,” Yolanda Foster added to the caption of the meme.

Yolanda Foster has been a model for several years, but in 2012, her fame skyrocketed due to her participation in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During the show’s third season, following the exit of Camille Grammer, Yolanda Foster was brought to the show as a friend of Lisa Vanderpump, and ever since, she has appeared on the show in a full-time role.

Around the time Yolanda Foster joined the Bravo cast, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and sadly, after chronicling her struggles on the show for years, she suffered a setback during season 5, which left her unable to read, write, or watch television. In a Bravo TV blog weeks later, Yolanda Foster spoke of the Lyme disease relapse, assuring fans she would continue to fight.

Weeks after that, however, Yolanda Foster was forced to make an early exit from the season 5 reunion of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to her Lyme disease symptoms.

Since the reunion special was filmed, Yolanda Foster has continued to keep fans in the loop with her illness, but unfortunately, she was faced with criticism while filming the sixth season of the series.

Although fans of the show will have to wait until the sixth season begins to find out what was said in regard to Yolanda Foster’s diagnosis, a source claimed weeks ago that she planned to confront her co-stars about their alleged doubts in her Lyme disease while filming.

Yolanda Foster is “getting ready to film with all of the ladies of [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills] in the next two weeks,” an insider revealed to Radar Online in September. “Since having her breast implants removed, [Yolanda Foster] has had a huge improvement in her overall health. But she still suffers from Lyme disease.”

“[Yolanda Foster] was beyond hurt after finding out that some of the ladies were asking a lot of questions and even suggesting that she didn’t even have it… [Yolanda Foster] plans on having heated words with Taylor Armstrong because she wasn’t even around at the height of her illness.”

While Yolanda Foster’s 2014 relapse set her back, the Radar Online source claimed she’s been doing better in the months since. In fact, said the source, Yolanda Foster was “firing on all cylinders” nearly one year after the devastating health ordeal took place.

In addition to Yolanda Foster’s personal struggles with Lyme disease, she recently confirmed her two youngest children, Bella and Anwar Hadid, were also suffering from the illness.

For more Yolanda Foster, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 6, beginning on Tuesday, December 1, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
