Karrueche Tran Responds To Chris Brown's Instagram Diss, Model Throws Shade At 'Royalty' Tracks

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran may have ended their longtime relationship earlier this year, but it looks like there may be another feud brewing between the former couple after Chris Brown reportedly penned a new diss track aimed at his former romance with Karrueche Tran.

Chris Brown took to Instagram on Tuesday to share several videos of himself teasing snippets from his upcoming album, Royalty. In the videos, Brown can be seen singing and dancing along to his music while giving fans a glimpse of what they can expect for his highly anticipated studio album.

While Chris Brown's fans were eager to hear what the "Loyal" singer has planned for his new album, it appears Brown garnered a lot of attention for one track that appears to be aimed at ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

In one video teaser, Chris Brown can be seen mouthing along to lyrics about how he "used to be in love" with an ex before accusing a former flame of trying to go "Hollywood" following their split.

Fans instantly took to the comments section of Chris Brown's video to praise the singer for penning an honest track about Karrueche Tran following their headline-making split in March. However, it looks like Karrueche Tran is less than impressed with Chris' new music.

Just hours after Chris Brown's diss track teaser appeared on Instagram, Karrueche Tran shared her own video clip in which she asks fans, "To be petty or to not be petty? That is the question," the Shade Room reports.

Despite fans encouraging Karrueche not to respond to Chris Brown's new song, it appears Tran is not happy with her ex's decision to accuse her of seeking fame after ending their relationship earlier this year.

Karrueche Tran publicly split from Chris Brown in March after learning that Brown fathered 1-year-old daughter Royalty with model Nia Guzman, prompting a nearly year-long feud between herself and Brown.

Earlier this year, Karrueche Tran revealed to BBC Newsbeat that Chris Brown has had a negative impact on her career.

"I used to date him, and now as I am growing into myself and maturing and getting my career together, I am starting to have my own name without having to be associated," Karrueche told the site.

While Karrueche Tran admits that she's had to learn how to "block out" negative comments made about her on social media, especially those accusing her of using Chris Brown for fame, Tran feels she "shouldn't have to explain myself to anybody because this is my life and I can do whatever I want."

Karrueche further recognizes that her association with Brown makes people wary of wanting to do business with her, but admits that "it sucks, because I'm not a weak person."

While Chris Brown neglected to directly comment on Karrueche's claims, a source close to Chris explained to Urban Islandz that there "would be no Karrueche Tran if she didn't date Chris Brown."

The source continues, "[Karrueche] should be thanking [Chris Brown] for making her famous and stop bashing him for her misfortune."

The news comes just days after sources close to Karrueche revealed to the site that Tran was "laughing at the hypocrisy" from Chris Brown after the "Liquor" singer tweeted about wanting to settle down with a "soulmate."

While Chris Brown has yet to release the official title of his alleged Karrueche Tran diss track, it looks like fans aren't the only ones eager to hear the full version of Brown's new song.

Chris Brown's Royalty album was initially set for a November 27 release, but rumors continue to suggest that Brown has had to push back the release date until December due to scheduling conflicts.
