‘Teen Mom’ Chelsea Houska Is Engaged
Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska is engaged. The mother of one recently revealed to fans that she and boyfriend Cole DeBoer are planning to tie the knot, and she couldn’t be happier to have found such an amazing man for herself and daughter Aubree.
According to Us Weekly, Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer only recently got engaged, and the Teen Mom star took to her social media accounts to show off her beautiful diamond engagement ring.
“He’s stuck now,” Houska captioned a photo of herself and Cole while showing off the ring.
Chelsea Houska also revealed to Teen Mom 2 fans that Cole DeBoer’s proposal was super romantic, as it seems he put a lot of thought into the huge milestone and even included Aubree, his soon-to-be step-daughter.
“Cole brought me to a personal spot in the woods where he had photos lining the tree. The pictures hanging were of him and I and the three of us as a family.”
Perhaps the most adorable part of the entire proposal is that Cole asked Chelsea’s 5-year-old daughter Aubree for permission to marry her mommy, to which Aubree of course said yes!
“Cole asked Aubree if it was okay if he married her mommy. She immediately said yes, was extremely excited, and gave him a big hug.”
It looks like when Teen Mom 2 returns to MTV, there will be so much going on with each of the girls that it will be hard to keep up. In addition to Chelsea Houska’s engagement, Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, will continue to work through their marital issues while Jenelle Evans will deal with splitting from fiance and baby daddy Nathan Griffith. Jenelle has since found a new man, David Eason, but she is still trying to work out a way to co-parent with Nathan in a civil way.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Houska’s Teen Mom 2 co-star Leah Messer is likely to see the most drama. Last season, fans saw Leah deal with some depression and other issues as she divorced her second husband, Jeremy Calvert. Later, she completed a 30-day rehab program and returned home to her three daughters. However, she was still battling ex-husband number one, Corey Simms, for primary custody of their twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah. Since last season aired, Leah has unfortunately lost custody of the girls and currently only sees them on the weekend.
Reports suggested that the Teen Mom had continued to take the twins to school late or not at all and missed Ali’s physical therapy sessions. One rumor even circulated that one day Leah’s youngest daughter, Addie, 2, got out of the house and wandered off before being found by a police officer. All the while, Leah says she’s still struggling with sleep issues and is possibly narcoleptic. She vows to regain custody of the twins from Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda Patterson, who recently welcomed a baby girl, Remi Monroe, two months early. The baby is reportedly still in the NICU at the hospital.
What a crazy season of Teen Mom 2 it is sure to be. Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer have seemingly been through it all, but they continue to fight to be better mothers and get their lives on the right path no matter what life throws at them. It should be interesting to see how each of them deals with the changes in their lives when the fan favorite reality series returns to MTV next year.
