Chelsea Houska: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Announces Engagement To Boyfriend Cole DeBoer

Chelsea Houska, one of the stars of MTV’s reality show Teen Mom 2, has had her fair share of heart break. However, it looks as though Houska’s love life is finally looking up, and she may just get that fairy tale she has always dreamed about.

On Wednesday night, the MTV personality shared some exciting news with her fans on Instagram. Houska shared a photo of her and her boyfriend Cole DeBoer, which isn’t something out of the ordinary. However, what was placed on her finger was. In the pic, Chelsea is showing off her brand new ENGAGEMENT RING!

“He’s stuck now!” Houska captioned the photo, adding a smiley face and ring emoji.

The bride-to-be spoke exclusively to MTV about the engagement, and shared another snapshot of her diamond. “I am unbelievably excited, and it feels good to finally have my family that I have always wanted,” Houska said. Chelsea then detailed how Cole popped the question, revealing that he had asked her daughter Aubree, who she shares with her ex Adam Lind, if he could marry her mommy.

“Cole brought me to a personal spot in the woods where he had photos lining the tree,” Chelsea recalled. “The pictures hanging were of him and I and the three of us as a family.”

She added, “Cole asked Aubree if it was okay if he married her mommy. She immediately said yes, was extremely excited, and gave him a big hug.”

It is obvious that the reality star is on cloud nine, as she later took to Instagram again to share a second photo of her new bling.

“I honestly cannot believe how lucky I am. Finally found my Prince Charming and I get to be with him for the rest of my life!” she captioned the second Instagram photo.

Houska and DeBoer, whose relationship has been documented on the most recent season of Teen Mom 2, met at a gas station and started officially dating last August. Chelsea said she always knew, from the moment she met Cole, that he was “the one.”

“The first time I ever saw Cole, before we even talked, I went home and told my friend Chelsey, ‘I just saw the guy I am going to marry,'” Houska said.

While the engagement is still new for the couple, they have already been thinking about their future wedding plans. Surprisingly, Chelsea wants a small ceremony, maybe sometime in the fall.

“Cole and I really like fall, so sometime around then,” Chelsea said. “The ceremony will be small and intimate with our close family and friends.”

After Chelsea and Cole shared their big news, Chelsea’s dad Randy Houska, who has never hidden his hatred for his granddaughter’s father Adam Lind, shared his excitement to be gaining a son-in-law, congratulating his daughter for never settling for less than what she deserved.

“Prince Charming > toad Ready to add another #soninlaw Lesson to you all: #DoNotSettleForLessThanYouDeserve Congrats @ChelseaHouska & Cole,” Randy tweeted. “If only there was another season of #TeenMom2 so you could all follow along.”
