Chris Brown Dissing Karrueche Tran With New Song? ‘Liquor’ Singer Shares New Music On Instagram

Chris Brown may be gearing up for the release of his new studio album, Royalty, but it appears Chris Brown is eager to give fans a first listen to some of the tracks he has been working on prior to the highly anticipated project while also throwing some shade at ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Chris Brown took to Instagram on Wednesday to tease several snippets of some new music just days ahead of Royalty’s scheduled November 27 release date, further exciting fans who have been patiently awaiting the arrival of Brown’s new music.

In the six clips, Chris can be seen bopping his head to the music while mouthing the words to his own lyrics. In one clip, Chris Brown teases a feature with Teyana Taylor while captioning another video with “Wiped out.”

While Chris Brown neglected to offer track titles for the songs teased on Instagram, fans couldn’t help but notice that two of Brown’s video clips appeared to be aimed at the “Loyal” singer’s former relationship with Karrueche Tran.

In Chris’ first video snippet, Brown can be seen mouthing along to lyrics, “You did it all to make me jealous / Make me jealous,” leading some fans to speculate that Chris Brown may be dissing his former relationship with Karrueche Tran, from whom Brown split in March earlier this year.

Brown famously accused Karrueche Tran of having a romantic relationship with rapper Drake in 2014 while Chris was serving a brief jail sentence for violating his probation, further fueling speculation that Brown may be addressing the rumors of Tran and Drake’s romance in his music.

In a second teaser video shared to Chris Brown’s Instagram account, Brown can be heard singing about how he and a former flame “used to be in love” before accusing an ex of going “Hollywood,” instantly sparking debate about whether or not Brown has a diss track planned for Karrueche.

One fan writes, “someones about to drop some heat,” while another adds, “How can you diss someone you did wrong?”

While some fans defended Karrueche by noting that Chris didn’t exactly name his ex in the lyrics, others praised Brown for addressing his former relationship with Tran in his music.

“Lmfao he called her broke and said she ain’t got s*** watch all the videos,” one fan explains, while another adds, “he purposely played that part, he too hurt.”

Chris Brown’s Instagram teaser videos come just days after the singer took to Twitter to reveal his desires to settle down with a “soulmate” after complaining about the single life being “boring,” prompting backlash from fans who feel that Brown mistreated “soulmate” Karrueche Tran.

Karrueche Tran called off her longtime relationship to Chris Brown earlier this year after discovering that Brown had fathered a child with Nia Guzman.

While Chris Brown initially attempted to salvage his relationship with Karrueche following the news of his fatherhood status, it appears Chris has given up hopes of reconciliation with the model.

A source close to Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran revealed to Urban Islandz that Karrueche was not pleased with Brown’s “soulmate” tweet, noting that the model was “laughing” at Brown’s “hypocrisy.”

Similarly, Karrueche lashed out at Chris Brown via TMZ in August, telling the site that Chris Brown is a hypocrite for meddling in her dating life while Brown continues to be seen with “multiple women” since their split.

Despite Chris Brown having seemingly addressed his past mistakes with Karrueche Tran in his collaborative track with Rick Ross for “Sorry,” it seems Brown is continuing to draw inspiration from his tumultuous romance with Karrueche for his new music.

Chris Brown’s Royalty album will hit stores on November 27.
