Josh Duggar Sued By Adult Film Star Danica Dillon Amid Reports He Left Sex Addict Rehab: Consultant Slams Duggars’ New Show

When 19 Kids And Counting first began to gain in popularity, Josh Duggar was known primarily as the oldest son of the exceedingly conservative Duggar family, headed up by matriarch Michelle and patriarch Jim Bob. But then came the initial scandal that resulted in what has become a whirlwind of rumors and reports that primarily focus on Josh as well as his wife Anna Duggar and the Duggar family’s philosophy. Even though TLC has since cancelled the show in the wake of confirmation that Josh had molested five underage girls, including several of his sisters, the Duggars have remained in the news.

Following the confirmation that he had molested those girls, Josh was linked with the Ashley Madison site for infidelity, admitted to cheating on Anna, and confessed an addiction to porn. Duggar then checked into a rehab to be treated for sex addiction, and the Duggar sisters subsequently earned the spotlight as TLC planned a new show, set to air in December, that will focus on Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard, as the Inquisitr reported.

But despite that attention to his sisters, Josh is back in the headlines with the revelation that adult film star Danica Dillon is suing him, according to In Touch.

Danica, whose actual name is Ashley Stamm-Northup, claims that when she and Josh had sex earlier this year, on two occasions Josh battered her. The porn star is seeking $500,000.

“[The incidents were so awful they caused] physical and emotional injuries..[like] being raped,” per the court documents.

In addition to responding to the battery allegations from Danica, Josh may face questions about what he’s done in the past, from that porn addiction and cheating on Anna to the molestation of five underage girls, four of whom were his sisters, according to the adult film star’s attorney.

Josh Duggar is known to have molested some of his sisters.

Josh’s parents also could be questioned about their son’s past actions, according to Frumer.

Michelle and Jim Bob are known to have waited more than a year to tell authorities that Josh had molested the victims, and subsequently sought to hide his scandals. Asking Josh’s parents about the past could provide a way to indicate that this is a pattern, said Frumer.

As for the upcoming plans by TLC for a Duggar family spin-off show? Danica’s legal consultant is slamming even the concept of any type of future shows for the Duggars.

“I don’t believe there should be any spin-off shows whatsoever,” declared the legal consultant for Danica, Stephanie Ovadia. “I think [the family] needs to have some accountability to the public.”

Do the Duggars hide secrets from each other?

“The defendant has a history of sexual and physical abuse towards women, particularly those he perceives as vulnerable or weak,” added her attorney. “He has to be held responsible for his actions.”

As for the possibility that Josh could use his stay in rehab for addiction treatment as a reason for avoiding the lawsuit, that may not be an issue.

That’s because new reports indicate that Josh may have left rehab, reported She Knows.

The reports result from a sighting of the Duggar family plane landing at an airport close to Josh’s rehab facility. Since checking into the Bible-based rehab in August, Josh has not been seen, and it’s assumed that he has been receiving treatment. Did the Duggars fly there to visit him, or to pick him up and take him home either for the holidays or for an early release?

Rumors range, from reporting that Josh exited the treatment center prematurely, to that he was only visiting with family members while still there, to that he actually left just for a holiday sabbatical. And getting the real scoop is made even more difficult by the way in which individual Duggar family members hide secrets from one another.

However, Amy Duggar, known as the rebel cousin of the family, recently posted a tweet that may give a hint as to how she feels about Josh.

“Visualize the devastation before you cheat on your spouse,” tweeted Amy.
