Jennifer Lawrence Compares Kissing ‘Passengers’ Chris Pratt And Her ‘Mockingjay’ Costars Liam Hemsworth And Josh Hucherson

Jennifer Lawrence has clearly managed to rise through the ranks to become one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood. In fact, not only is she getting ready to wrap up her role in the hit Hunger Games franchise, but she is also set to star alongside Chris Pratt in the upcoming film, Passengers. With that in mind, Lawrence recently dished on what it is like kissing some of Hollywood’s hottest actors, including Pratt.

According to Cinema Blend, Lawrence did not shy away when asked to compare how it felt to lock lips with Pratt and her fellow Hunger Games stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. True to form, Lawrence was very upfront about her on-screen kissing experiences, and revealed that her kiss with Pratt was nothing like kissing family.

“I don’t know him as well as I know Josh and Liam… It doesn’t feel as much like making out with a family member. Not that I’m against that—I’m from Kentucky.”

Lawrence’s comments came while she was promoting the last movie in the Hunger Games franchise, Mockingjay – Part 2. Hopefully, her comments about Hemsworth and Hutcherson being like family won’t prove distracting for fans, who are eagerly waiting to see which man she chooses to be with at the end of the movie.

That being said, Vanity Fair is reporting that neither Hemsworth nor Hutcherson have officially commented on what Lawrence shared about kissing. However, given the fact that Hutcherson is also from Kentucky, they probably have no problem at all with being considered family.

Meanwhile, along her last appearance in the new Hunger Games film, Jennifer Lawrence is getting ready for a busy schedule of filming in the coming months. This includes an upcoming movie involving director David O. Russell, Robert De Niro, and Bradley Cooper, which is likely to be a hit in the box office.

At the same time, Lawrence is also getting ready for the release of X-Men: Apocalypse, where she will be returning to the big screens as Mystique. As if this is not enough, the actress is also working hard on the production for Passengers, in which she will be starring opposite Chris Pratt in the lead female role.

Passengers is a sci-fi adventure film directed by Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game). The movie’s main plot centers on a 120-year space voyage that is met by an unfortunate disaster as the crew races off to their main destination.

The disaster occurs while all the crew members are resting in suspended animation in order to live through the extended trip. However, Pratt’s character is accidentally awoken some 90 years before schedule. Because this means that his character will be forced to live out his days all alone on the ship, he decides to wake up Lawrence’s character for some company.

Although this doesn’t sound like a great idea, things end up working out for Pratt. In fact, the two subsequently fall madly in love with each other, and, as Lawrence referred to her in the interview, eventually kiss.

Although the film might have come as a surprise to many, it has actually been in the works for quite some time now. In fact, the movie previously had Keanu Reeves, Reese Witherspoon, and Rachel McAdams starring in it before it was dropped, then picked up again with Pratt and Lawrence.

While the release of Passengers and X-Men: Apocalypse is still a ways off, fans can still watch Lawrence as she stars as Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, which is set to hit theaters on November 20, 2015.
