‘Destiny’ Weekly Reset For November 17, Update 2.0.2 And Iron Banner Dropping

The Destiny Weekly Reset brings its usual mix up of Strikes and other activities to the PlayStation and Xbox shooter Tuesday. However, Guardians are most looking forward to what will arrive later in the day in the form of a new update and the start of the second Iron Banner event since The Taken King launched.

Update 2.0.2 will be released Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT, according to a Bungie Twitter announcement. Players will likely be booted then, but this brings a number of important fixes to Destiny, as previously covered by the Inquisitr. The Nightstalker glitch is finally and completely fixed, Eris will begin trading for Worm Spore, players will be able to purchase Legendary swords, and Iron Banner will see a significant and much-needed boost to rewards along with a switch to the Clash game type.

Iron Banner will go live Tuesday following the release of Destiny update 2.0.2. Expect full details on the update and Iron Banner when they become available.

After a couple of weeks of punishing Nightfalls, this week’s is on the fun side. Guardians get the Solar Burn and Airborne modifiers to do more damage plus Catapult for more grenades while taking on Taniks. The danger side here is the Solar Burn from enemies such as Taniks and the Fallen Tank combined with the Exposure modifier to prevent replenishing health.

Court of Oryx (Guide)

Tier 3: Kagoor

Destiny Kagoor (PlayStation, Xbox)

This is one of the more challenging boss fights in Court of Oryx simply because there’s lots going on between dealing with multiple minions, including Ogres, and attempting to gain buffs.

Kagoor is immune to damage until the Servite Ogre is defeated. This Ogre has loads of health, though, and other Ogres to help it, along with Devoured Shadows and Maleficent Eyes. Destroying the Eyes gives a buff called Ogre’s Fury that stacks up to three times and increases the damage done to Ogres.

Players will need to use the rocks and pillars to avoid the Servite Ogre’s attacks and bring it down. Once the Servite is dead, attack Kagoor quickly with heavy weapons and super abilities to bring him down.
