Stevie Wonder Wedding Crasher–Surprises Newlyweds With Piano Solo

A British couple received an impromptu wedding gift they could have never imagined and will never forget: Superstar music legend Stevie Wonder serenaded them during their wedding reception.

London’s upscale Dorchester Hotel was the scene of Paul and Kelly Scott’s wedding party. Stevie Wonder, who was staying at the hotel because he was performing for Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee celebration, decided to drop in and congratulate the newlyweds.

But according to the Daily Mail of London, Wonder did a lot more than that:

[he] then sat down at a piano and sang You Are The Sunshine Of My Life…

His surprise gift to the newlyweds came after his daughter Aisha Morris, 37, alerted him to the wedding reception and he asked to be introduced.

A security guard for the singer went over to the Scotts, saying: ‘These things never happen, but Stevie would like you to join him at the piano.’

The couple was thrilled to the point of tears and obviously very appreciative of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The video of this event uploaded to YouTube for some reason only shows the very end of Wonder’s impromptu performance. Hopefully a more complete video will be uploaded soon and, if so, we will update this story accordingly:
