Denise Richards Speaks Of Prayer Ahead Of Charlie Sheen’s Alleged HIV Confession
Denise Richards posted a telling message to fans on Saturday. However, the message, which spoke of prayer, wasn’t aimed at ex-husband Charlie Sheen, who is rumored to be suffering from HIV.
On November 14, Denise Richards shared a photo on Instagram, along with the hashtag “#PrayForParis.” And since then, she has remained silent both on Instagram and Twitter, where her former partner is currently the No. 1 trending topic in the United States due to his possible health crisis.
As Sheen reportedly prepares to announce he is HIV positive on Tuesday’s new episode of the Today show, a source spoke to Access Hollywood and confirmed Denise Richards has known for a “number of years” that her ex-husband allegedly suffers from the illness. The source also claimed Denise Richards’ ex, the father of her two children, Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, contracted the illness years after their 2006 divorce and that the couple has “not been intimate” since their split.

Denise Richards met her ex-husband in 2000 but didn’t strike up a romance with the known playboy until one year later, when Denise Richards appeared on his FOX series Spin City. Two months later, Denise Richards was engaged, and in June of the following year, she and Sheen were married.
Denise Richards then filed for divorce in March 2005, and in 2006, their split was finalized.
According to Access Hollywood’s report, neither Denise Richards nor her children have contracted HIV.

In the days leading up to her ex’s scandal, Denise Richards and her three daughters, one of whom (4-year-old Eloise) was adopted after her divorce, were spotted in Los Angeles. During one of the actress’ outings, she and her three girls were seen walking with her father, Irv, on a pier in Malibu, California.
“Denise Richards took a long walk on a short pier on Sunday, and it wasn’t even a suggestion of Charlie Sheen’s,” the Daily Mail reported earlier this month, along with several photos of Denise Richards and her family. “The 44-year-old was spotted enjoying a morning stroll with her dad Irv and her three daughters. The actress kept it casual in a loose white T with jeans and flip flops, with her hair in a loose pony over her shoulder.”
Earlier this year, Denise Richards feuded with her former husband on Twitter after he hinted that she had banned their children from spending time with him on Father’s Day.
“Brooke M is a sexy rok star whom I adore D Richards a heretic washed up piglet shame pile. Happy Father’s Day!!!… On FD (Father’s Day); Father’s Rights! I insist we devour the mendacity of these ‘kidnapping’ D Richards ‘types’ & bring justice to ‘us’,” he wrote back in June.
Later that same day, Denise Richards responded to his message with a tweet of her own, which read, “Happy Dad’s Day! @charliesheen have a great trip in Mexico! Kids were disappointed u weren’t here for it – Hey we’ll celebrate when u r back!”
Throughout the last several years since their divorce, Denise Richards and her ex have had an up-and-down relationship. While they’ve gotten along at times and even posed for a Twitter photo together, they’ve also seen dark times, such as their public feud mentioned above. That said, Denise Richards rarely engages her ex when he takes digs at her online, which has happened on multiple occasions.
Denise Richards did not return a request for comment by Access Hollywood regarding the current scandal surrounding her ex and his alleged illness, nor did her former partner.
