Blake Shelton To The Rescue: Country Star Pulls Four Guys Out Of The Mud, Deemed A Hero
Country star Blake Shelton has been in the news quite a bit lately. His divorce from Miranda Lambert this past summer, and now his most recent relationship with pop singer Gwen Stefani, has put him in the hot seat these days. Now he is once again making the news, but this time because of being called a hero.
While the 39-year-old singer was spending some time at home in Oklahoma recently, he came upon four guys who were in trouble and needed some help. Shelton is known for having a big heart and for helping others, so he couldn’t pass up these young men needing his assistance.
According to E! News, Bryar Blanton, Josh Turner, Adrian Poplin, and Lenyell Blanton got into some unexpected trouble last week when they got stuck in some mud around the Washita River. Blanton shared how it all went down.
“We were at the river looking and slid off into a mud hole for about two hours. Then me and my buddy Adrian started walking and Blake Shelton stopped and asked if we needed some help.”

Blake Shelton was riding along in his truck with his pooch, Betty, when he stopped to help the guys out. He gave the two men a ride to where their buddies were stuck in the mud. When he got there, he tried using his truck to pull them out. They must have been pretty deep in the mud because that didn’t do the trick. Not one to give up, Shelton left for a few minutes and then came back with a tractor.
Blake ended up getting them unstuck and the boys were very grateful that he was kind enough to help them out. He even took a picture with them as a keepsake of their unexpected visitor whom they have deemed a hero, as Bryer said.
“If it wasn’t for Blake, I would have been out there for countless hours. And yeah I would say he is a hero.”
He also mentioned what a cool guy that Blake Shelton was. The country boy even took the time to chat with them for a few minutes before going on his way. Bryar mentioned that the singer was talking about hunting with them. He may have been on his way to hunt as he has a bow with him as well.
Shelton had just attended the 2015 CMA Awards recently. He is also gearing up for his hosting duties at the Kid’s Choice Awards in March, as reported by ET. The show is all about getting slimed, as well as handing out awards. While Blake might seem like an unlikely fit for this event, he may just bring some country music into this realm of young ones.
Speaking of kids, it sounds like he may be getting closer to Gwen Stefani’s three sons. He may just bring them along to the Kid’s Choice Awards, but that would probably depend on whether him and their mom are still dating next year. Their apparent relationship has been in the top entertainment news since photos of the two together made the rounds on social media, and now everyone seems to be talking about this new coupling.

Blake Shelton’s ex, Miranda Lambert, has been getting on with her life as well. It doesn’t look like she is back to dating just yet, but she is having a great time just hanging out with her friends and writing music. She just celebrated her 32nd birthday with her besties and decorated her horse to look like a unicorn.
As for her ex, this is not Blake Shelton’s first time being a hero to someone in need. Last June, on his 39th birthday, he rescued a man by towing his vehicle out of the water on a flooded road. He is one true super hero these days.
