Donny Osmond To Become Grandfather for the Fifth Time [Video]

This Father’s Day promises to be extra special for iconic singer Donny Osmond!

During Friday’s episode of CBS daytime talk show “The Talk,” Osmond, 54, found out that his fifth grandchild is on on the way.

“I wanted to take a minute to say I’m very grateful and I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to break you into fatherhood,” Osmond’s son, Donny Jr., said on the show. “I wasn’t the first to make you a grandfather, but Jessica and I have your fifth grandbaby.”

Upon hearing the news, the longtime singer immediately welled up and embraced his son, before jumping to to his feet in celebration along with those present at the show.

The Puppy Love hitmaker then waited till the cheering and tears subsided only to joke, ” “Now I feel really old!”

According to US Magazine, Donny Osmond Jr., who married Jessica Nelson on Oct. 1, 2010, is the oldest of his Don Sr.’s five sons.

Besides his newest grandchild on the way, Donny Osmond Sr. has a grandson and granddaughter from his son Jeremy and daughter-in-law Melisa and another grandson from his son Brandon and daughter-in-law Shelby.

Brandon and Shelby Osmond are also expecting another boy, according to Wikipedia.

Donny Osmond’s Father’s Day surprise episode of CBS’ The Talk aired Friday at 2pm ET/1 p.m. PT/CT.
