Karrueche Tran ‘Laughing’ At Chris Brown’s ‘Soulmate’ Comments, Model Calls Ex Out On ‘Hypocrisy’
Chris Brown may be looking for a soulmate after living the single life for nearly a year, but it looks like Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, is calling the “Loyal” singer out on his hypocrisy.
Chris Brown took to Twitter on Friday to vent about the downsides of being single, telling fans that he’s more interested in finding a “soulmate” to settle down with.
While Chris Brown’s post was met with mixed reactions from fans, with some supporting Brown’s maturity and others shaming Chris for cheating on “soulmate” Karrueche Tran, it appears Karrueche is not impressed with Chris’ Twitter message.
In Chris Brown’s post, the “Liquor” singer admits, “Being single is great if you want to be a horndog, but it’s boring when u want a soulmate.”
According to Urban Islandz, Karrueche Tran took to Twitter shortly after Chris published his post to laugh at her ex and call him out on his hypocrisy.
“Laughing at the hypocrisy,” Karrueche Tran reportedly wrote on Twitter before promptly deleting her message.
A source close to Karrueche Tran spoke to Urban Islandz regarding the duo’s online spat, telling the site that Karrueche laughed off Chris’ post because she thinks Brown is attempting to win her back over after an eight-month split.
“[Karrueche] thinks that [Chris] genuinely misses her but he also f***ed up big time so its next to impossible for her to go back to him much less trust him,” the source explains.
Karrueche Tran called off her longtime relationship with Chris Brown in March after learning that Brown had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman. While Chris has been dedicated to his role as a father to 1-year-old daughter Royalty, prompting praise from fans for his love and maturity, sources close to Karrueche insist she has no plans to reunite with Chris Brown in the future.

The news comes just days after Chris Brown and Rick Ross released the music video for their collaborative track, “Sorry,” which is widely believed to have been inspired by Chris Brown and Karrueche’s tumultuous relationship.
While Karrueche Tran has yet to comment on Chris Brown’s apologetic track, the model did open up about her struggles to find love and happiness after ending her romance to Brown earlier this year.
During her interview with Kontrol Magazine, Karrueche admits she isn’t “mentally” ready to date again due to the continuing drama surrounding her and Chris Brown’s split.
“I think people are intimidated by the drama [from my past relationship] and not wanting to deal with it because it’s an ongoing story,” Tran admits, noting that “It’s a lot to open up to somebody.”
While Chris Brown may be feeling lonely without a relationship, Karrueche Tran’s fans have been praising the model for trying to move past her association with Chris Brown to focus on her career.
Karrueche took to Instagram last week to share a photo of herself smiling while hanging out with friends, prompting a flurry of supportive responses from fans in the comments regarding Karrueche Tran’s happier attitude.

“You look so happy and I’m so happy for you,” one fan wrote in response to Karrueche’s Instagram post while another adds, “I’m so proud of you Karrueche, enjoy your journey momma’s.”
Currently, Chris Brown is busy promoting his upcoming album, Royalty, which is named after the 1-year-old daughter he shares with Nia Guzman. Chris Brown has yet to comment on Karrueche’s alleged Twitter-diss despite fans calling the “Back To Sleep” singer’s attention to the situation.
