Rihanna And Travis Scott No Longer Dating? ‘BBHMM’ Singer Too Focused On New Album For Boyfriend
Rihanna and Travis Scott may have heated up dating rumors earlier this summer, but it looks like Rihanna and Travis’ brief romance has already come to an end.
According to sources close to Rihanna, the “B**** Better Have My Money” singer decided to end her casual romance to Travis Scott in order to focus on completing her eighth studio album.
Rumors regarding a release date for Rihanna’s highly anticipated Anti album suggest that Rihanna is preparing to release her album in the upcoming weeks, meaning that Rihanna has little time to spend with Travis despite their close friendship.
“He wanted her every second of the day and even wanted her to travel with him for his show,” Rihanna’s source alleges, noting that Rihanna has been in attendance at several of Scott’s shows in both NYC and L.A. over the past few months.
“While all the need for her attention is flattering it eventually became too much for her to handle. He is just too needy so she broke things off with him,” the source further explains.
Rihanna’s insider concludes that while Rihanna and Travis’ romance was a “no strings” type of relationship, Scott became “too possessive” of Rihanna and it began to wear on their relationship.
Rihanna and Travis Scott first heated up dating rumors just weeks after Rihanna called it quits with Formula One racing champ Lewis Hamilton.
Just weeks later, a source close to Rihanna confirmed Rih and Travis’ relationship to E! News after the duo was photographed kissing during Rihanna’s NYFW event.

“Travis and Rihanna are dating, officially,” the source confirms, noting that “it’s already very serious” between Rihanna and Scott and that Travis is “very into her.”
Similarly, the source explains that Rihanna “likes Travis a lot and hopes it develops into something more,” and that Rihanna’s close friends “think he is gonna be the keeper.”
Not long after rumors of Rihanna and Travis’ romance began making headlines, Rihanna seemingly shot down the dating claims on Instagram by implying that she’s still single.
In a not-so-subtle message posted to Instagram, Rihanna shared a photo that reads, ” ‘Omg why are you still single?’ – cos I’m a c***.”
Months later, Rihanna revealed in her cover story interview with Vanity Fair that she hasn’t been in a serious relationship since calling off her on-again, off-again romance to Chris Brown in 2013.
While it’s unclear if Rihanna’s interview was conducted before she and Travis Scott began hanging out over the summer, Rihanna admits that she isn’t interested in one-night stands and is often uncomfortable dating because of the attention surrounding her love life.
“Some guys … I don’t even have their number. You would not even believe it,” Rihanna admits, noting that she doesn’t “have sex for fun” because it would leave her feeling “empty.”
While Rihanna and Travis Scott have never officially commented on their rumored romance, Travis has been showing his support for Rihanna and her upcoming Anti album on Instagram.
Travis Scott further fueled rumors of an impending release for Rihanna’s album when he changed his Instagram bio to not only promote his own album, but to tease that Rihanna’s Anti album is coming soon.

Similarly, Travis shared a photo of Rihanna performing at the Hollywood Bowl just weeks ago with the caption, “An-ti,” leading fans to believe that Scott and Rihanna may have a collaboration in the works for Rih’s upcoming album.
