‘RHOA’ Star Cynthia Bailey’s Troubled Marriage Coming To An End? Admits She Is Not Attracted To Her Husband, Peter Thomas

Following the release of her husband’s cheating video, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is opening up about her marriage to Peter Thomas. In particular, the reality star recently explained that she is no longer attracted to her husband physically, and she hinted that their relationship may be in serious trouble.

According to PEOPLE, Bailey discussed her troubled marriage during the first episode of season 8 of RHOA. In the episode, titled The Shades of It All, Bailey’s sister questioned her about whether or not she is still in love with Thomas.

“Are you still in love with him?” Malorie asked directly.

“Yes, I am in love with him still,” Bailey answered.

“But are you attracted to Peter?” Malorie continued her inquiry. “I am attracted to him,” Bailey responded, adding that she was not attracted to Thomas physically.

“Physical attraction is important but I am more attracted to Peter’s mind,” Bailey added.

Bailey went on to reveal that she and Thomas have had issues in their marriage in the past, but the recent video highlighted what has apparently been an ongoing problem. Apparently, distance is a key issue and has led to a lack of communication between the couple.

“Peter and I we have a lot of real issues that we are dealing with. We have no real communication,” she shared with her sister. “We have distance issues now that he is spending more time in Charlotte. The video is just another thing to put on the list.”

While Bailey is clearly struggling with her marriage, some of her co-stars have come out in support of their fellow RHOA cast member. In fact, according to OK Magazine, Porsha Williams recently expressed her sympathy for everything that Bailey is currently going through in her marriage.

“I honestly felt sorry for Cynthia and saw myself in her,” Williams stated.

Williams added that part of the reason she can sympathize with Bailey is because she has been through a similar situation. “I too have been in a relationship and operated in total denial, and that’s what I thought she was doing,” Williams explained, alluding to her issues with Bailey last season. “It’s just easier sometimes to put your head down, run your business, and keep the peace.”

Williams’ comments come as a surprise given her turbulent past with Bailey. This includes the two being involved in an ugly fight last season that also involved Phaedra Parks. The three were feuding over allegations that Thomas was cheating on Bailey, which ended up leading to a huge fight between the ladies.

However, after the cheating video surfaced online, Williams was quick to put away her differences with Bailey and share some words of support. That being said, it is not clear if the two will be able to keep the peace throughout the rest of the season.

Although Bailey is certainly facing an uphill battle in her marriage, Williams is currently enjoying the company of her newest boyfriend, Buffalo Bills player Duke Williams. “I think he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread,” she stated in the opening episode. “My family, they don’t feel the same. I think it’s just coming from his age, but just like Aaliyah says age ain’t nothing but a number.”

Whether or not Bailey’s struggles with her husband can be resolved remains to be seen. Whatever happens, this will likely be a major focal point for the series as the current season gets underway.
