Bethenny Frankel On Being A Fly On The Wall With ‘RHOBH’ Ladies

Bethenny Frankel is busy filming The Real Housewives of New York these days alongside Carole Radziwill and Dorinda Medley. The three ladies have been spotted several times in New York, and it sounds like she is having lots of fun being back on the show that started her massive career for her. But there have been rumors of Bethenny filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as well, and now she is revealing the truth about that.

For a brief moment, Bethenny Frankel did consider moving to Los Angeles when she was married. She had a talk show offer on the table from Ellen DeGeneres, and she would have to film in Los Angeles. Luckily for Frankel, she was able to film in New York. Her marriage and her talk show failed miserably, but she still enjoys the Beverly Hills lifestyle. So it only made sense that she hung out with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast this summer as they went to the Hamptons.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she did film with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies because the ladies came to the Hamptons. And as it turns out, it was interesting for Frankel to be a fly on the wall for drama that she had nothing to do with.

“They’re a very different type of cast. It’s interesting being a fly on the wall in a new cast you don’t have any issues with,” Bethenny Frankel revealed during a promotional event for her Skinnygirl products, adding, “Kyle [Richards] and I have known each other for years so it felt really natural with me meeting her friends.”

Frankel also got to meet the new housewives as she invited them all over to her Hamptons home. This was extremely personal for Bethenny, but since she is friends with Kyle, she trusted the ladies. Bethenny met newcomer Erika Jayne, and describes her as “rich, hot, and [someone who] seems like a tough cookie.”

Earlier this summer, Heather Thomson announced that she would be leaving the show behind to focus on her own business. A few months later, Kristen Taekman also announced that she was leaving the show behind. Earlier this year, Kristen’s husband, Josh Taekman, got caught up in the Ashley Madison cheating scandal, and it is very possible that she left the show because she didn’t want these marital issues to play out on the small screen. Instead, she took the time to fix them away from the Bravo cameras. And Bethenny wishes them nothing but the best.

“I think they enjoyed the experience and I’m sure they’ll be sprinkled in and we’ll see them once in awhile I hope because I really like them,” Bethenny says, adding, “I think the show is going to continue to be great.”

But it is questionable how great the show will be since some of the ladies are demanding more money. Luann De Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan are not filming The Real Housewives of New York at the moment because they want more money. And while it has been nothing but rumors thus far, Bethenny recently revealed that the ladies are waiting for more money.

“Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered and negotiation is definitely an art form,” Bethenny has revealed according to Reality Tea, adding, “I would venture to guess that most these women are not willing to walk away, so it’s all a useless exercise in nothing.”
