Yolanda Foster Feeling Better: ‘Still Spending Most Of My Days In Bed’

Yolanda Foster announced a few years back that she had been diagnosed with Lyme disease. Foster was shocked, but she was determined to get better and possibly find a cure. Foster spent the next few months traveling the world to find a treatment that could possibly make her feel better. This journey was shared on her Instagram account and partially on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Fans will see more of the treatments and surgeries on this upcoming season, starting December 1.

It has been an emotional rollercoaster for Yolanda Foster. She has experienced some periods where she couldn’t get out of bed. Plus, Foster has tried to spread awareness about the disease as much as she can. As it turns out, she is now able to get out of bed to attend events for her daughters. And that is a big step in the right direction.

According to a new Bravo report, Yolanda Foster is now revealing that she is actually feeling much better these days after a relapse last year. She has struggled for years with this disease, and she took a turn for the worse last year before Christmas. These days, however, she admits that she is feeling better but still taking things easy.

“I’m getting better,” Yolanda revealed this week at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to E! News, adding, “I’m probably about 60 percent but still spending most of my days in bed and resting and, you know, trying to find the magic drink.”

Foster stepped out to support her daughter, Gigi Hadid, in her very first Victoria’s Secret fashion show this week. Yolanda is still being plagued by the disease. As she explains, she isn’t 100 percent cured of the disease, which has caused her fatigue and is attacking her nervous system.

However, she does seem much better from just one year ago. In December last year, she suffered a relapse and she revealed in her blog that she had lost the ability to read, write, or do really anything that required processing information or stimulation. Yolanda was completely heartbroken and didn’t really want to talk about it on the reunion for the show. But seeing her daughter in the fashion show this week lifted her spirits.

“I still get emotional thinking about it. I’ve seen it 100 times and every time I see it, I start crying because I know it is something that she wanted so much and she worked so hard to get it,” Yolanda revealed on the red carpet, adding, “She’s only 20-years-old. She tried out twice and didn’t get it and to get it the third time, it was just so special.”

Her daughters are her big supporters, as she battles this disease. They have never questioned their mother’s illness. But Foster’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills stars have questioned whether she truly has the disease. Kyle Richards hosted a party at her Coachella Valley vacation home, and Foster decided to show up to set the haters in their place. Apparently, Taylor Armstrong and Lisa Rinna may have questioned whether she truly has Lyme disease, and Yolanda wasn’t happy about it, according to Radar Online.

Yolanda came with a mission to make a scene,” an insider has revealed about the drama on this upcoming season, adding, “She learned that the women had been questioning her Lyme disease diagnosis.”

“The ladies seemed to think Yolanda had become a hypochondriac, or was making herself sick from undergoing so many alternative treatments,” the source explained, adding, “Yolanda was very, very upset and did indeed yell at them.”

What do you think of Yolanda Foster doing better? Are you happy to see her out supporting her daughters?
