Kristen Doute Furious With Fat Shaming Jokes: ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Fights Back!
Kristen Doute may not be working at SUR anymore after being fired last year, but she is still filming Vanderpump Rules. In fact, Kristen has bonded quite a bit with Stassi Schroeder, who left the show behind a few seasons back. After learning that Jax had cheated on her, she decided to leave SUR behind and try something else. She moved to New York to live with her boyfriend, Patrick, but after a year, the relationship started to crumble.
As it turns out, Kristen Doute has been there for Stassi as her relationship fell apart. And the two have actually become close friends, as they have shared a few Instagram pictures together. So, it may not be so surprising that Doute is coming to Stassi’s defense over some fat comments that were made on the after show.
According to a new tweet, Kristen Doute is now defending her co-star, Stassi Schroeder, over comments made on the Vanderpump Rules aftershow. Apparently, someone decided to point out that Stassi gained a few pounds, and the conversation quickly took a turn. Kristen watched the show, and decided to call out the host of the show for bullying her friend.

“Dan Babic, as a host of #PumpRules Afterbuzz TV, you fat shame our gorgeous cast member?disgusting. we judge, you bully,” Kristen Doute revealed on Twitter after watching the Vanderpump Rules After Show.
“I would never want to fat shame anyone. I am extremely honest, but do agree the comment was unacceptable,” Dan replied in defense of the tweet, which had Kristen write about Stassi Schroeder, “because she’s thin AF, same size as me. her jeans are at my house & it’s a tough squeeze for me. did I pack on lbs?”
“I mean, perhaps? Joking aside you are obviously both very pretty, thin girls and think we should all move on,” Dan replied, which had fans chiming in, “I love how you support Stassi Schroeder fat shaming or shaming women of any size is NOT ok.”
“This is what is wrong with the world. Shame on them,” Stassi simply replied to the conversation, not pointing out that Kristen Doute had come to her defense.

Luckily, Schroeder is a strong woman, and she may be able to handle harsh comments. She knows that she isn’t overweight. The comments about Stassi’s weight did seem to be out of place, and the girls are now fighting back. And Kristen Doute knows a thing or two about being criticized for her looks on Vanderpump Rules. When she was going through her troubles with Tom Sandoval, viewers were quick to share mean and rude comments with her, throwing anything to see what would stick.
According to E! Online, Doute recently had surgery. While she didn’t reveal what the surgery was about on social media, she later told the news outlet that the surgery was a reconstructive surgery on her face.
“For those of you who like to jump to negative conclusions, I’ll clear up my sarcasm,'” Kristen Doute revealed on Instagram according to E! Online, adding, “I had reconstructive surgery due to multiple orbital socket fractures that happened a few weeks ago. Coincidence was crazy and my surgery was the premiere day.”
It is admirable to see that Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder are standing behind one another. Stassi was one of the people who visited Kristen in the hospital after her surgery, even though she had the surgery on the Vanderpump Rules premiere date.
