Did Rob Kardashian Attend Kris Jenner’s 60th Birthday Celebration? Invitation Listed Him As Host

Was Rob Kardashian at Kris Jenner’s Great Gatsby-themed birthday celebration over the weekend? According to a November 7 report by the Mirror, Rob Kardashian’s name was listed alongside Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner as a host on the event’s invitation.

However, according to the report, “Whilst Kendall and Kylie Jenner were joined by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe at the extravagant party, [Rob Kardashian] wasn’t pictured at the event in West Hollywood, California.”

During the bash, several members of the Jenner/Kardashian family shared photos on social media, but Rob Kardashian wasn’t seen in any of them, nor was he seen in any paparazzi photos from the venue, which seemed to confirm Rob Kardashian bailed on the event. Meanwhile, Rob Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, appeared to have had a bit too much fun, as she was spotted slumped down in the back of a vehicle as she made her way out of the party with boyfriend Corey Gamble at her side.

Prior to Rob Kardashian seemingly ditching his family during his mother’s special event, a source told Hollywood Life that his sisters had convinced him to attend.

“All the girls wants Kris’ party to be a family affair. They absolutely, 100-percent want and need [Rob Kardashian]’s presence. Each of them have called him and told him how much they love him, and how special and equally important it is for him to commit to attend Kris’ shindig.”

According to the report, Rob Kardashian spoke with his sister, Khloe, the longest, which wasn’t too surprising considering the pair live together in Los Angeles and have for some time. During their “intense and heart-warming” chat, claimed the source, Rob Kardashian and Khloe discussed many things, including their childhood moments with Kris Jenner.

“Of course Khloe told him how much she loves and adores him. They made some peace too. [Rob Kardashian]’s been hurting a lot for a myriad of reasons but Khloe reminded him of how strong and brave he is, and told him to remember that he’s a Kardashian and that they always rise to the top! Toward the end of the conversation, she told him she can’t wait to see him and celebrate Kris’ special day!”

Although Khloe and Rob Kardashian are extremely close, Khloe recently put her brother on blast for “wasting his life” as he continued to hide from the media and paparazzi.

For the last few years, Rob Kardashian has struggled with weight gain and depression, which have led him to hide out at his home in Los Angeles, rarely being seen in public. In addition to ceasing his participation in his family’s reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, in 2012, Rob Kardashian has failed to attend any red carpet events in years and has only been seen out and about in Los Angeles a handful of times in recent years.

Rob Kardashian, who has been rumored to have lost weight in the last several weeks, also failed to attend his sister Kim’s wedding to Kanye West in May 2014. Although Rob Kardashian was spotted at the airport in Los Angeles en route to Europe, where Kim and Kanye wed, he didn’t actually make it to the ceremony and hasn’t left town since.

For more of the Kardashian/Jenner family, tune into Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11, premiering on Sunday, November 15, at 9 p.m. on the E! Network. No official word yet on whether or not Rob Kardashian will be featured.
