NFL fans can watch a matchup of two juggernaut NFC teams live online Sunday when the Green Bay Packers travel to North Carolina where they will aim to hand the Panthers, the only undefeated team in the conference, their first loss of the 2015 season — an unpleasant experience that the Packers themselves were subjected to last week.

Green Bay fell to 6-1 by dropping a decisive 29-10 decision to the Broncos in Denver, as four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the National Football League 2014 Most Valuable Player, had his worst game of the season and one of the worst in the 31-year-old’s eight years as the Packers’ starter, throwing for just 77 yards and no touchdowns, completing just 14 of 22 passes.
The Panthers, on the other hand, equalled their win total in all of last season by going to 7-0, surviving a 29-26 overtime home scare from the struggling Indianapolis Colts.
In that game, 26-year-old signal caller Cam Newton, the Panthers — and the nation’s — first overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, threw for 248 yards with a pair of touchdowns against one interception, while rushing for another 41 yards in 10 attempts on the ground.
But Rodgers, who has led the Packers to the playoffs every season since 2009, including a Super Bowl victory in 2010, has not been on the losing end two games in a row in five years.
But the key to winning or losing for the Packers may not turn out to be Rodgers at all, but the porous Packers defense, which is 25th in the National Football League against the running game this year. And in the Panthers, they must try to stop the league’s leading ground game, which averages 113.7 yards per contest.

But Panthers Coach Ron Rivera says that he is trying to keep his players focused on the task at hand.
“I’ll stick to my mantra that this is the most important game we’ll play because we’re about to play it,” Rivera said on Friday. “But I think the players understand what’s at stake. It could have implications in January, but we’ll focus on what it means now.”
The last time these two teams met was in Green Bay on October 14 of last year. The Packers won that one big, sending the Panthers back to Carolina with their collective tail between their legs, 38-17.
The loss sent the Panthers reeling, losing their next five straight games as well. But they have not lost a regular season game since ending that losing streak and will be hoping to avoid going full circle against the Packers on Sunday.
