Justin Bieber’s Chair-Flipping Video Reveals Shocking Truth That He Has Human Emotions

For Justin Bieber, uber fame comes at a price of severely reduced privacy and frequently having media stories about him sensationalized and blown out of proportion.

Justin Bieber’s very own #chairgate led to the ludicrous #JustinHatesHisFansParty hashtag topping U.S. trends on Twitter on Saturday, after the singer flipped a chair in a restaurant following craziness from fans, and the eatery manager reportedly ordering Bieber to leave because of the fans’ noise.

The 21-year-old superstar flipped the chair in a restaurant in Cannes, France, after he was reportedly told to leave by the manager when fans screamed chants and disturbed other guests who were also trying to eat.

Bieber was in Cannes to perform “What Do You Mean?” at the NRJ Music Awards 2015 on Saturday. The singer was trying to eat breakfast on the outside terrace of the restaurant when fans began causing a nuisance.

A group of fans who were reportedly also at the eatery claim fans gathered by the patio and screamed the place down.

The restaurant manager reportedly told the Canadian he had to leave as other guests were complaining about the noise and threatening to go. The fans who reportedly witnessed the drama allege a frustrated-looking Bieber assured the manager he would sort it out.

This sorting out apparently entailed Justin pleading with fans to let him eat in peace. The witnesses claim they and other girls told the Biebs they would leave, but another group of fans quickly started making an even louder ruckus.

The fan witnesses allege Justin tried to ignore the escalating noise and carried on eating. They claim the singer became angrier and spoke to the fans screaming fans, telling them something along the lines of, “Guys, guys, guys, can we stop for a moment? I’m trying to eat.”

The witnesses say the Purpose singer pointed at all the guests on the terrace and told the fans “We’re ALL trying to eat and enjoy our meals can you guys just leave?” Some fans allegedly dialed it down but began again within minutes.

“I could see that Justin was already getting furious,” wrote one of the witnesses. The fans would not stop screaming and “the manager came again and told him he needed to leave. So he muttered ‘unbelievable’ or something and got up and just tossed the chair.”

Once video of the chair flipping did the rounds on Twitter, fans, and Bieber-detractors chimed in and it inevitably went viral, prompting the #JustinHatesHisFansParty hashtag.

Hasty misreporting by more than a few outlets left out the crucial alleged parts about Bieber begging screaming fans to calm down, and the restaurant manager telling the singer to leave. The hitmaker’s irritated departure makes even more sense with that information.

In response to gossip antagonist Perez Hilton claiming, on the basis of a context-less video snippet, that the singer’s chair flipping was caused by the singer allegedly getting “angry when fans showed up while he was eating outside… and stormed off to get away from his fans,” Bieber tweeted the blogger and told Hilton not to lie and said he’d received “bad personal news.”

“@PerezHilton lol. No one is flipping out dude. My buddy had just told me some bad personal news… Don’t lie please. #IllShowYou,” the singer wrote, adding a hashtag of the title of his new single, “I’ll Show You,” which addresses the topic of being dehumanized by fame and celebrity culture.

After that, Justin went on something of a Twitter spree and poked fun at the #JustinHatesHisFansParty hashtag by sharing messages telling fans he loved them and retweeting numerous chair memes posted by himself and fans.

“Just took pics with a buncha beliebers. I must of been mad at them. lol,” Justin tweeted his followers.

“Like I said. This album says it all. Don’t listen to what the media has to say. U want to know me. How I feel. What I’m about. It is all right here. Letting the music do the talking. I love u guys. This is funny as hell,” Bieber wrote.

As yet, there are no details on the “bad personal news.” But, even without that added stress, it’s curious why it seems to be so hard for most media outlets and others to grasp that Bieber experiences normal human emotions such as frustration, anger, and all the rest — like everyone else, especially since he has spent the entirety of 2015 reiterating that he isn’t perfect and struggles with feelings of anger, self-worth issues, depression, and impulsiveness.
