Kristen Doute Undergoes Reconstructive Surgery After Devastating Fall, ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Shares Photos

Kristen Doute didn’t get to enjoy the Season 4 premiere of Vanderpump Rules with her co-stars, including Scheana Marie, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, and Lisa Vanderpump. Instead, the reality star spent Monday night at the hospital, where she underwent facial reconstructive surgery.

“Kristen Doute is on the mend after undergoing reconstructive facial surgery on Monday, the same day as the season four premiere of Vanderpump Rules,” the Daily Mail reported on November 6, along with a number of photos shared by Kristen Doute throughout her hospital stay. “[Kriste Doute] went under the knife after a fall in early October caused cheekbone and orbital skull fractures. On Wednesday, the reality star posted a photo on Instagram while she recovered post-surgery in a hospital bed with an IV drip and a towel over her face.”

Kristen Doute also sent a shout-out to co-star Stassi Schroeder and boyfriend Brian Carter, whom she hoped would visit her as she recovered.

Although Kristen Doute and Schroeder had a falling out during filming on Season 2, due to Kristen Doute’s hookup with Schroeder’s former boyfriend, Jax Taylor, the two women made amends ahead of the Season 3 reunion show, and ever since, they have been close.

Kristen Doute has been starring on Vanderpump Rules in a full-time role for the show’s entirety, and while she was fired from SUR Lounge last year after cussing out her manager, Kristen Doute’s participation in the show doesn’t seem to have been reduced one bit.

During Season 4, Kristen Doute’s love life will take center stage as her relationship with James Kennedy comes to an end. During the first episode, fans watched as Kristen Doute and Kennedy bickered at SUR Lounge after Kennedy revealed private information about Carmen Dickman to her ex-boyfriend, Taylor. They were then seen at Kristen Doute’s apartment, where they agreed to try to be more civil with one another.

Throughout the first episode of Season 4, Kennedy led fans to believe Kristen Doute’s excessive drinking had caused trouble within their relationship, but then, during Scheana Marie’s 30th birthday, it was Kennedy who was seen pouring shots of Fireball directly into his mouth as Kristen Doute looked on.

Kristen Doute and Kennedy’s breakup was officially confirmed in September, just as filming on Vanderpump Rules Season 4 came to an end.

“[Kristen Doute] and James were together at the start of the season, but they broke up during filming,” a show source told E! News in September. “They’re not currently together… although with them you never know.”

In the Season 4 trailer, Kristen Doute’s then-boyfriend appears to be accused of cheating by her friend, Scheana Marie. Then, a few scenes later, Lisa Vanderpump claims Kennedy moved on from Kristen Doute with Lala Kent, a new cast member who recently began working alongside Kennedy at SUR Lounge.

Since their split, Kennedy appears to be in a relationship with Kent, while Kristen Doute is dating Brian Carter.

As for whether or not Kristen Doute’s new relationship will be seen on the show, that has yet to be confirmed, and because it didn’t arise until after her split from Kennedy, filming may have already wrapped by the time she and Carter began dating.
