Brandi Glanville Defends Vicki Gunvalson: ‘Don’t Go After Her’

Brandi Glanville may have left the Real Housewives franchise behind, but it sounds like she still watches the other shows to catch up on the drama. And, like the rest of the country, Glanville watched The Real Housewives of Orange County and followed the Brooks Ayers cancer drama. Like Meghan King Edmonds, Brandi Glanville has plenty of opinions as to what could be happening, but she does think that Vicki’s co-stars have been a bit aggressive.

In fact, Brandi Glanville is now coming to Vicki’s defense. She doesn’t think that Vicki made any mistakes on this past season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The only mistake Gunvalson made was falling in love with the wrong guy and that’s something Glanville can relate to. As it turned out, Brandi had some encouraging words for Vicki, as she stood by her friend.

According to a new People report, Brandi Glanville is now revealing that she is shocked Vicki’s co-stars don’t want to film with her. For Brandi, it has nothing to do with Brooks Ayers having cancer or not — it has something to do with Vicki simply making an innocent mistake and her friends turning on her.

“I just [thought] she got a bad rap,” Brandi revealed this week at the Rhonda’s Kiss All-Star benefit concert raising funds for cancer care in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “Without her and Brooks this season, they wouldn’t have had a storyline, and now they’re saying they don’t want to shoot with her? It disgusts me!”

According to Glanville, this is the time where her co-stars should be helping her out and caring for her. She has a broken heart, and she realizes that she may said and done things that didn’t seem right. Brandi believes that Vicki simply made an innocent mistake by falling for the wrong guy and she says she wants Gunvalson’s co-stars to think twice before boycotting Vicki. Why? Because they may not have a storyline.

“She fell in love with the wrong guy. She believed him. She trusted him. She was lonely,” added Glanville, sharing, “I get it. I’ve dated the wrong guy, trust me. You want to believe what they say. Maybe in the back of your head you know it’s not true, but maybe you’re so in love or lonely and don’t want to lose that companionship.”

Of course, Brandi Glanville also weighed in on whether Brooks has cancer. Like many others, she simply doesn’t know, but she does say that the universe will handle everything if he is caught lying about such a serious illness.

“Is he gross? Yeah. If he doesn’t have cancer, God forbid, I feel sorry for him. Karma is a b****,” Glanville said, adding, “But don’t go after her. If they didn’t have her on the show this season, they wouldn’t have anything to talk about.”

These days, the network may be thinking about what to do with Vicki Gunvalson and her co-stars. Tamra Barney, Shannon Beador and Heather Dubrow have recently revealed that they have no interest in filming with Vicki Gunvalson. Newbie Meghan claims that she never filmed with Vicki alone. The network may be forced to choose between Vicki and the other ladies.

“I don’t consider Vicki a friend. I’ve never filmed with just her,” Meghan Edmonds revealed to People, adding, “I think she is a filthy liar who plays the victim, and I refuse to ever willingly associate myself with that. I care too much about my reputation than to tarnish it by pretending to be friends with a reality television actress. I bring real stories to the Housewives and I won’t sink to the level of associating with fakeness.”
