Giada De Laurentiis Divorce: Does Food Network Star Have A New Man?
Giada de Laurentiis’ divorce is final and the Food Network chef revealed she “kind of” has a new man in her life, but, who is it?
Things have been tough for Giada de Laurentiis since her world came crashing down, and now she’s trying to rebuild her life. In December, the Food Network star announced that she was ending her 11-year marriage to her husband and father of her daughter, Todd Thompson.
According to Page Six, during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show Thursday to promote her new cook book, Happy Cooking: Make Every Meal Count…Without Stressing Out, Williams directly asked De Laurentiis if she had a boyfriend. Giada didn’t exactly confirm but played coy.
“I’m gonna say kind of and I will tell you this is the first time I’ve actually said that.”

Williams pressed De Laurentiis and asked her if she was in love and Giada was positively giddy when she answered, “God!” When asked for more juicy details about who her new man is, Giada de Laurentiis didn’t give in and shared no further information about her mysterious beau.
Ever since announcing her divorce, the 45-year-old celebrity chef has been the focus of increased speculation and has been linked to several high profile men. As soon as her divorce was announced, gossip sites reported Giada de Laurentiis and Bobby Flay were allegedly having an affair.
According to Radar Online, the Food Network stars were holding hands under the table while in the process of divorcing their respective exes and having dinner at Emilio’s Ballato in New York City. An anonymous source even said Giada and Bobby carved their initials in a secret place on the wall.
Flay’s rep denied the stories saying that last December, Giada de Laurentiis and Bobby Flay were having dinner at the same restaurant, but with different people. Giada was meeting with her agent when Bobby stopped by her table to say hello and there was no touching whatsoever.
In January of 2015, De Laurentiis was forced to deny a report in Star magazine, which accused her of having extramarital affairs with Flay, Today host Matt Lauer, and crooner John Mayer.
“My long-time friendships with my co-workers…are exactly that—long-time friendships. There has never been a romantic relationship with these two men.”
In a related report from the Inquisitr, divorce papers show Giada de Laurentiis daughter’s custody will be shared with ex-husband Todd Thompson and he will also receive $9,000 per month in child support. The couple, who had been married for 11-years, did not sign a prenuptial agreement, which cost Giada.
De Laurentiis’s divorce was announced on a touching Facebook post where Giada explained she and Thompson, who was featured in many of her cooking segments, had been separated since last summer.
“After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage. Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family’s happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths. Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything. We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change.”
Giada de Laurentiis’ net worth is said to be $15 million and she is splitting all profits made from the sale of the cookbooks she published during her 11-year marriage to Thompson. She is also dividing the profits from advances she secured on future cookbooks.
