Casey Anthony Breaks Silence to Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan has been tweeting about his interview with former tabloid murder suspect Casey Anthony, but if you’re hoping to hear or see from the Florida native then you’re bound to be disappointed.

The ten-minute interview with Piers Morgan will not be aired per Anthony’s request. The demands from Casey Anthony led Morgan to translate what was said by Anthony, who was found innocent last summer in the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony.

According to CNN, the lawyer of Casey Anthony, J. Cheney Mason, was present for the interview but when Piers Morgan begged her to call in live, Anthony declined and would only give one ten-minute interview to Piers Morgan if it was off the air.

In the short interview Anthony maintained her innocence in the death of her three-year-old daughter, telling Morgan, “Obviously I didn’t kill my daughter,” She continued, “If anything, there’s nothing in this world I’ve ever been more proud of, and there’s no one I loved more than my daughter. She’s my greatest accomplishment.”

Since the trial’s verdict Anthony has remained out of the public eye since being released from her Florida jail cell. When the verdict was first released Anthony hoped to make bank out of her instant fame by peddling around interviews to different cable networks. However, all of the networks declined her offers, possibly in fear of a public backlash.

As it stands CNN, which is home to Piers Morgan Tonight did not pay Morgan or Anthony to conduct the interview.
