Khloe Kardashian Announces Book Signing After Canceling Tour Due To Lamar’s Odom Health Crisis

Khloe Kardashian’s new book, Strong Looks Better Naked, was released just two days ago, and now, she’s preparing for her first signing. Although the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who filmed scenes for Season 11 earlier this week, announced she had canceled her book tour last week, she has since announced an upcoming book event in Los Angeles.

After sharing the news of her book signing, many fans were left confused due to Khloe Kardashian’s previous statement about canceling her tour. In response to the questions she received, Khloe Kardashian explained that while she has canceled her tour due to her decision to stay in Los Angeles, where her husband Lamar Odom continues to receive medical care, she will eventually beginning promoting her book nationwide.

“I keep getting asked why I cancelled my NYC signings. I will reschedule them but4 the time being I have to stay in LA for personal reasons,” Khloe Kardashian explained to fans on November 5, also adding, “More cities will be added for sure my loves! I just have to feel comfortable to leave for a few days. Thank you for understanding.”

While Khloe Kardashian was expected to do tons of promotional activities for her new book, her plans were sidelined after Odom reportedly suffered an overdose and multiple strokes at a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, on October 13. Following news of her husband’s crisis, Khloe Kardashian flew to Las Vegas to be at his bedside, and ever since, she has remained dedicated to Odom’s recovery, and has left the hospital only a few times since he fell ill.

After Odom woke up from his coma days after being hospitalized, he was transferred to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical center, where he has since been making good progress towards a full recovery. Still, however, it is unknown whether or not Odom will ever be 100 percent back to normal. Either way, Khloe Kardashian continues to be there for him as he gets better.

In an interview with Yahoo! Style earlier this week, Khloe Kardashian spoke of her current relationship with James Harden, as well as her relationship with husband Odom, whom she filed for divorce from nearly two years ago.

“I’m dating, obviously. James, but I haven’t really spoken a lot about him. I’ve learned from experience you just never know what happens in life. I’ve chosen to keep things closer to my heart until I figure it out. I love hard, I love who I love, and I don’t make any qualms about it.”

Continuing on about Odom, Khloe Kardashian said that despite her struggles with her husband, which included rumors of drug use and affairs prior to their split years ago, she looks back on their relationship with nothing but love.

“It was the best time of my life. But because you can’t just show these wonderful things and then not show the other stuff — like ‘Oh! Lamar disappeared!’ I had to explain I was going through a divorce, and people appreciate that and relate to it, and we also had a great love story, so I think people want to see that for me again.”

Currently, Khloe Kardashian and Odom remain married after filing documents to end their divorce proceedings last month from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
