Khloe Kardashian Choosing Between Lamar Odom & James Harden, Hoping For Kids: Has She Exploited Odom For Fame?
Khloe Kardashian has increasingly been revealing more of her heartbreak over the medical crisis faced by her husband Lamar Odom as well as her plans for her future. Although Khloe was the one who filed for divorce, Kardashian called it off soon after Lamar was discovered unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. Since that shocking news, Khloe has stayed with Odom throughout his fight to recover, from traveling back to a southern California hospital through tests and medical decisions.
But while Kardashian remains legally the wife of Lamar, Khloe also has stayed faithful to her boyfriend, James Harden. And now Khloe faces choices while fearing that leaving Lamar to fight for his life could destroy him, reported Life & Style.
At 31, Kardashian admits that among her dreams for the future, she hopes to have children.
“I mean there has to be eventually!” said Khloe hopefully. “[My sister] Kim’s trying to talk to me about freezing eggs but I’m like b***h how old do you think I am?”
Kardashian also confessed that trying to choose between her husband and her boyfriend when it comes to their current needs is stressful. Khloe, who has authored a new book, Strong Looks Better Naked, is trying to keep at least part of her love life private.
“I’m dating, obviously. James,” said Kardashian of Harden. “But I haven’t really spoken a lot about him…I’ve chosen to keep things closer to my heart until I figure it out.”
As to whether Khloe could possibly leave James and return to Odom permanently? The question of Harden versus Odom isn’t one that can be easily decided, even though she did cancel the divorce, admits Kardashian.
“We had a great love story, so I think people want to see that for me again,” theorized Khloe. “There is so much more medically and emotionally that we have to go through in order to even think about anything romantically.”
Of the medical and emotional battle that Lamar faces, Odom won’t be alone, as the Inquisitr reported.
But the biggest challenge for Kardashian may be yet to come when Lamar is released from the hospital, which is estimated to be in less than two weeks. Even though it was a drug overdose that almost killed Lamar, Odom denies that he has a substance abuse problem. Khloe is advocating for rehab because Kardashian feels that her husband is in denial when it comes to insisting he’s not addicted to drugs, said an insider.
However, Odom has not recovered yet. The hospital release will be followed by outpatient visits for physical rehabilitation or by staying in a facility for rehab. However, while either of those options will help Lamar physically, Kardashian is concerned that neither will address his drug abuse, and that’s reportedly why she pulled the plug on their marriage the first time.
But recently Odom reacted to some horrifying stories that he heard about Khloe, reported Us Weekly.
The 35-year-old former NBA player learned that Kardashian prevented his children from visiting him, although other reports indicate that Khloe used her own money for Lamar’s family to visit.
In addition, Odom heard that Kardashian was exploiting his health drama to boost her fame. In response to all those reports, one insider claims that Lamar ordered Khloe to leave him alone.
“Lamar said he needed space and wanted to be alone,” said that source. “He told her to get out.”
However, a different insider denied that Odom ordered Kardashian to leave him or that she had blocked certain individuals from visiting Lamar.
As for abandoning Odom, Khloe only has taken short periods of respite to get support from her sisters and Harden, her boyfriend. Kardashian always has returned to Lamar, however, and an insider said that she’s concerned about ensuring her husband is stable.
Although Khloe is still there for Odom, Kardashian has been increasingly taking time for herself. She recently supported James at a basketball game. And Khloe also was seen on a shopping expedition after returning to southern California from her visit to Harden to be with Lamar, reported E News.
Kardashian had taken a jet plane to rah for James. It was the Houston Rockets game that opened the season for Harden, and Khloe stayed undercover by viewing her boyfriend play from the safety of a suite. Now, back in Los Angeles after that quick trip to Houston and Harden, Kardashian has returned to her vigil to support Odom as she considers her choices.
