Machine Gun Kelly Sued After Bar Brawl

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly was arrested back in January after a massive bar brawl in Florida. One of the bouncers involved in the incident is now suing the rapper.

According to TMZ, the bouncer, William Long, claims that he was seriously injured when Machine Gun Kelly threw a bottle at him. The security posted photos of his injuries to the internet, and yes, they’re pretty graphic.

Long’s lawyer James Flynn says that his client’s hand was sliced open when Machine Gun Kelly through a bottle inside the bar. The bottle shattered and a piece of glass apparently sliced Long’s hand.

Long spent 8-days in the hospital and had two surgeries, according to the lawsuit. Long is seeking unspecified monetary damages.

When MGK was arrested in January, he wrote on Twitter:

“Just spent my entire night in a f**king Florida jail…s**t escaladed way to quick last night, it always does with us though.”

The lawsuit claims that Machine Gun Kelly, real name Richard Baker, showed no remorse over the incident and instead used the altercation for self-promotion. The lawsuit reads that Baker “exploited the incident for promotional and commercial gain, such that the incident went ‘viral’ on the Internet.”

Baker was charged with disorderly conduct after the incident. His case is still pending.
