Lindsay Lohan Role as Porn Star Comes With Strict Conditions

Lindsay Lohan’s role as Elizabeth Taylor is ideally to be followed up by a role as a porn star in upcoming film The Canyons, but it appears the troubled actress must dedicate herself to turning over a new leaf, as there’s little room for Lohananigans in the filming schedule.

Lohan’s first big part in a while is her role in the Lifetime movie Liz Dick, but even so, there have been a few messy dustups with minor car crashes in Los Angeles since Lindsay has been working again. Producer of The Canyons Braxton Pope tells E! that while Lindsay Lohan’s role in the upcoming film suits her well, the actress’ reputation can certainly precede her in a negative way.

Still, Pope says, that has not been a barrier to choosing Lindsay Lohan for the role:

“Lindsay is incredibly charismatic in person, but unfortunately she is someone whose publicity can overwhelm the most essential fact that she’s enormously talented. There’s no question that we all want her in this role and we all want her to succeed.”

However, while Lohan’s role is pretty secure, sources tell the entertainment news source that the actress has been plainly spoken with about the conditions:

“They were very clear with Lindsay that there is concern about her ability to be disciplined enough to get through production. They spent an hour with her and they set conditions, telling her that they need to hear from the producers of Liz Dick that she’s showing up on time and things like that.”

The spy continues:

“I’m told it was slightly awkward. She was very defensive and had an excuse for everything brought up. But they were very clear with her about their terms…They have a limited budget and can’t afford to have production stalled because she’s late or has to be replaced. Shooting will start July 9 whether she is part of the movie or not.”

The latest Lindsay Lohan role in Liz Dick premieres on Lifetime in November.
