Kristen Doute Says James Kennedy Treated Her Badly: ‘He’s Belligerent’
Kristen Doute is back on Vanderpump Rules even though she was fired from SUR last season. Kristen and her failed relationship with Tom Sandoval was one of the primary storylines last season, as her co-stars wanted her to move on. Tom had moved on, and Ariana Madix had moved in with Tom. Doute, however, seemed like she was caught up on Tom, and James had to constantly remind her that she was in a relationship with him.
But things quickly spiraled out of control for Kristen Doute and Kennedy. Even in the first episode, Kennedy claims that Kristen is drinking too much, and he wasn’t happy that she showed up to his place of work. Clearly, things were tense between these two, and they have now split up.
According to a new Radar Online report, Kristen Doute is now revealing that she is not too fond of her now ex-boyfriend, James Kennedy. Last year, when they were dating, Kristen felt that Kennedy was the answer to everything she wanted. But it sounds like things go horribly wrong on Vanderpump Rules, as James starts hanging out with new server Lala Kent.

“[He’s] a little immature, belligerent, maybe an a**?” Doute revealed to the website, adding, “It’s no big shocker that we break up. I got sick of taking care of him and cleaning up his messes. His drinking and belligerence … maybe I got a taste of my own medicine from my previous behavior, but I’m definitely not proud of the way he’s treated me.”
Of course, Kennedy was a bit hypocritical. He tells Doute that she drinks too much and then goes out to drink himself. While he may have made a mistake, Kristen claims that it is completely embarrassing for him.
“In the first episode, between James and I, I wasn’t the completely sh**faced, lying, belligerent one,” Doute insisted, adding, “He just embarrasses himself.”
It sounds like Doute doesn’t think she did anything wrong, even though he may have shown some concern about her drinking. After they split, Kristen watches as James starts hooking up with the new server, Lala. Clearly, that’s not the best way to get on Kristen’s good side.
“Lala is not my favorite person,” Doute said, adding, “When I first found out about the possibility of them hooking up — whether when it was when we were together or not together — I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt. But she reminds me too much of James. I don’t have time for people like that.”

As for Doute’s ex, Tom Sandoval, he appears to have moved on completely from Doute. She has often said that it was tough for her to move on from Tom, but now she understands how everything fits together. James Kennedy came into her life to help her move on from Tom, and now she is ready to be herself again. And it sounds like she is moving quickly. According to Heavy, Doute is already dating someone new.
She posted a picture of her new boyfriend on her Instagram. She’s dating a bearded photographer named Brian Carter. No word on whether he will appear on Vanderpump Rules. It is possible that he won’t film the show, like Stassi Schroeder’s boyfriend Patrick last year. He had no interest in being on a reality show, and he stayed away from the cameras. One can imagine that Kennedy is thrilled that Kristen has moved on so he doesn’t have to deal with the drama from his ex.
