‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Katie Maloney Shares Wedding Details
This season on Vanderpump Rules viewers will finally get to see the big proposal as Tom Schwartz pops the question to Katie Maloney. Us Magazine shared that Katie is sharing a few details of their big day, but this couple is taking things pretty slow in the planning department. Tom proposed to Katie back in July, but they haven’t even set a date for their wedding yet. Katie says that “We’re just enjoying the engagement period for now.” Things are looking great for Tom and Katie now that they are officially engaged.
When asked what Katie Maloney will be wearing on her big day, she hasn’t even purchased a dress yet, but Katie does have an idea of what she wants to get. Her dress doesn’t sound like it will look anything like the one Scheana Marie wore on her big day. Katie did share what she will be looking for in a dress.
“I love a vintage vibe — lace — and nothing poofy. I will stick to the ivory and white family of colors for sure.”
Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney haven’t even really started planning much yet. They are taking things slow, just like Tom did when it came to proposing to her. Katie did share about their lack of planning so far.
“We haven’t begun much planning or set a date, but I have been planning for this since I was a little girl… I have family and friends to help along the way. Scheana has definitely been a beacon of inspiration since she just got married last year. [She’s] shed a lot of light on the cost of things and I’m already getting nervous about that!”

E! Online shared that Tom Schwartz feels like he did a great job on his proposal to Katie Maloney. He actually wasn’t allowed to share a lot of details about the big proposal, but that is because it will be airing on Vanderpump Rules this season. Tom did share that he thinks he did a great job on his proposal to Katie though.
“I don’t think I’m allowed to say that. I would love to tell you the story, because I think I finally in my life got something right. I think I nailed it. And I’m very self-deprecating, I don’t like to give myself credit. I think I nailed this one.”
Jax Taylor actually did agree with Schwartz that he did a great job on the proposal to Katie. It does sound like Maloney was surprised when it happened. Tom admits that he still calls Katie his girlfriend and she has to correct him and say fiance. Schwartz was very afraid of commitment and they are still taking things slow on the wedding plans, but you know it will happen someday.

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz do seem like a great couple. If Tom hadn’t popped the question, Katie had threatened to leave him, but it looks like he hit the deadline and these two are a perfect match. The new season should show a lot about their romance and hopefully, Tom and Katie can stay out of the drama on this new season of Vanderpump Rules.
