Yusaf Mack: Professional Boxer Who Claimed He Was ‘Drugged’ In Gay Explicit Video Finally Admits What Really Happened [Video]

Yusaf Mack became the center of controversy last week after a gay pornographic film he starred in was released. As expected, many fans found the film quite shocking, but the outrage stemmed from something else – his futile attempt to disassociate himself from the film. Now, he’s back with another statement about the incident, but this time he’s taking a different approach. According to the Daily Mail, Yusaf has now admitted that he was not drugged during the film and that he is bisexual.

“This is an issued public apology from my heart. I want to address a few situations with the first being the false claims I made about being drugged during the (DawgPoundUSA.com) film. I have never spoke negatively about the company that produced the film although the claim to have been given a drug by someone during set was a lie. I was completely aware and fully conscious during the film.”

In addition to apologizing to his now ex-fiance, children, and the rest of his family, Yusaf Mack explained why he initially lied about his involvement in the film. The 35-year-old boxer also admitted that he’s been living a double life for years and finally wants to “come clean” in the wake of the pornographic film controversy.

“After reflecting on the mess I had made I realized that I hurt a lot of my loved ones and the people I cared about the most were left disappointed and confused. It was unfair and time to come clean. “

Yusaf went on to defend himself, touching on the cynicism and condemnation of homosexuality. He also briefly expressed the difficulties and pressures African American males are faced with when it comes to being open and honest about their sexuality.

“The extreme taboo and harsh criticism of living a same-sex lifestyle, especially as an African- American male, makes it hard to be completely honest and comfortable within yourself.”

Yusaf Mack’s confession comes after a string of reports about his explanation for the film. Almost immediately after the pornographic film surfaced online, Yusaf addressed the situation in an effort to save his reputation.

As previously reported on Inquisitr, Yusaf Mack argued that the sexual act was involuntary and claimed that he’d been drugged. Although the father of 10, who is engaged to a woman, did admit that he’d agreed to film pornography because he needed the money, he adamantly insisted that he was unaware he’d be partaking in sexual activities with other men.

Yusaf Mack narrated a fabricated story claiming he’d arrived at a film location in the Bronx and only nude women were seen. After being “drugged,” he didn’t remember anything else. The next thing he claimed to remember was being awoken by a stranger on a train only to find $4,500.00 in his pocket, according to a previous report published by the Daily Mail.

Once the embellished story began circulating on social media, readers quickly began criticizing Yusaf. Clips of the pornographic film, along with reports about Yusaf’s claims caught the attention of news outlets across the country. Then, readers began voicing their opinions via Twitter under the hashtag #YusafMack, criticizing the Philadelphia boxer for his refusal take ownership of his actions. In addition to labeling him a coward, many women sympathized with his fiance whom he betrayed by living a double life.

Yusaf Mack’s latest statement has received a relatively positive reaction from social media users who have commended him for “walking in his truth.”
