Khloé Kardashian Insisting Lamar Odom Heads to Rehab After Hospital Release

Lamar Odom is still staying at the hospital, but things are looking up and now reports are out that Khloé Kardashian wants him to head to rehab for substance abuse when he gets out. Khloé wants Lamar to get clean and get his life together once again. In Touch Weekly shared that since Lamar was found unconscious at a brothel, once he checks out of Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA, Khloe wants him to get the help that she feels he needs.

Lamar Odom is allegedly off of kidney dialysis and doesn’t need a transplant anymore. Things are looking better for him and Khloé wants to work on the next step of his recovery. Lamar could have died and is lucky he was able to survive what went down at the Las Vegas brothel. He left the brothel in an ambulance and Khloé immediately flew out to help take care of him. Here is what an insider had to say about it all.

“Lamar will be released from the hospital in the next ten days. However, his release from the hospital does not mean that he has fully recovered physically from his near-fatal drug overdose. It’s uncertain if he will go to a facility to continue physical rehab, or do it as an outpatient.”

The source then went on to explain that Khloé wants Lamar to go to rehab for substance abuse. She hasn’t said where she wants him to go, but Lamar could end up joining Scott Disick if he is still in his facility. Here is what else the insider revealed.

“Khloé told Lamar that after he was released from the hospital, he would need to go to rehab for substance abuse addiction. Lamar balked and said no way, blaming the hookers for his overdose; Lamar is still insisting he doesn’t have a drug problem. He is still in denial.”

At this time, Khloé Kardashian has been by Lamar Odom’s side, helping him along the way. It doesn’t sound like Lamar wants to go, but Khloé may be able to convince him that it would be the best thing for his recovery. They did call off their divorce, but Khloé has made it clear that they are not a couple again. Khloé is actually still dating James Harden. Radar Online has shared that Khloé is actually upsetting Lamar by spending time with James instead of answering his phone calls or texts now that he is out of the woods.

Khloé has reportedly been in contact with James since Lamar was found. This past week, Khloé went down to Houston to take in a Rockets game and spend some time with James. Insiders said Lamar Odom called his drug dealer to come visit him in the hospital and any chance of Khloé taking him back were pretty much gone after that. Sources also say that Khloé is still checking in with Lamar’s doctors, but she wasn’t answering all his texts and calls while she was gone. Khloé has shared photos on Twitter that show she is back with Lamar at the hospital, once again, though.
