Jeff Goldblum Stalker Ordered To Stay 100-Yards Away For Three Years

Jeff Goldblum shouldn’t be seeing his stalker for a long time. A judge granted the actor a three-year restraining order against Linda Ransom, requiring the 49-year-old woman to stay more than 100 yards away from the actor until 2015.

E! Online reports that Ransom was outraged when the ruling was made. Judge Goodson quickly reprimanded the woman, saying:

“Ma’am, you’re acting irrationally. Mr. Goldblum wants nothing to do with you. This harassment has got to stop!”

Goldblum was granted a temporary restraining order against Ransom last month. The woman allegedly broke onto Goldblum’s property claiming that she had been attacked by one of the actor’s employees. The woman also misrepresented herself in order to get backstage at an event Goldblum was attending. Ransom, a former mental patient, has reportedly been stalking Goldblum for over a decade.

Goldblum did not attend the hearing and according to TMZ, his attorney, Blair Berk, didn’t say a word during the proceedings.

Last month, Goldblum said:

“Over the past decade, I have experienced substantial emotional distress due to Ms. Ransom’s continuous stalking, harassing, and threatening behavior. I am frightened of Ms. Ransom and feel she poses a serious threat to my personal safety.”

Hopefully this is the last time Goldblum hears about Linda Ransom, but as the Inquisitr noted last month, the woman has already been arrested several times for violating restraining orders.
