Nicki Minaj Gets Bedazzled As Busty Fairy Princess For Halloween
Nicki Minaj hit up a Haunted Funhouse Halloween party at 1 OAK nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, spilling out of a bust-baring fairy outfit which comprised of a bedazzeled corset, layered tulle skirt, and flesh-colored tights – complimented with Alaïa Platform Ankle Boots, a crown and a wand, the Daily Mail reports. She accessorized with a diamond cuff and a thinner bracelet in a similar style on her left forearm.

The “Anaconda” hit-maker opted for sex appeal rather than scare factor for the Halloween party, and narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction with her bountiful breasts in the skin-tight outfit. She wasn’t the only star rocking a sexy Halloween look. Kylie Jenner dressed as a “Snow Princess,” (as she captioned this pic), and Maria Shriver and Cindy Crawford vamped-it-up for the Casamigos Tequila Halloween Party in Los Angeles Friday night.

Earlier this month, Nicki walked out on a New York Times Magazine interview after she was asked if a part of her personality ”thrives on drama.”
“That’s disrespectful,” Minaj said, drawing herself up in the chair. “Why would a grown-a** woman thrive off drama?”
Before abruptly ending the interview, Nicki addressed the racial undertones of her heated VMAs exchange with Miley Cyrus.
“You’re in videos with black men, and you’re bringing out black women on your stages, but you don’t want to know how black women feel about something that’s so important?”
She also touched on how the body image of black women is represented in rap music.
“Back in the day, in hip-hop, the thick girl was glorified. Now the rappers are dating skinny white women. So it’s almost like, ‘Wait a minute, who’s going to tell the thick black girls that they’re sexy and fly’ too?'”
Ellen Degeneres certainly seems to have a fascination for thick black girls, and her obsession with big booties is starting to give many pause. A few weeks ago, the talk show host came under fire for airing a tasteless sketch that used a young black girl in butt padding to ridicule Minaj’s much-admired derriere. As Salon notes, “the skit drew comparisons to minstrel shows and the kind of exoticized fascination with black women’s bodies embodied by the sexual freak-show slavery of Saartjie Baartman, the “Hottentot Venus,” in the early 1800s.”
For her Halloween themed show this week, DeGeneres flaunted a new costume that gives the same booty-obsessed treatment to the Kardashian clan. Referring to herself Karla Kardashian – the black sheep of the family who got cut out of the reality show – she joked about signing an endorsement deal with Funyuns as she wiggled a heavily padded butt.
“My name is Karla Kardashian—with a K, ’cause we’re known for our double Ks,'” DeGeneres said. “These are double Ks too, by the way,” she added, pointing to her large prosthetic breasts.
Meanwhile, Minaj and Beyonce teased fans with footage of the duo rehearsing “Feeling Myself” for their live performance of the track during TIDAL’s 10/20 benefit concert. Queen Bey posted the footage on her Facebook page, and the minute-long clip titled “Ice Grill” shows Bey and Nicki mean-mugging each other. To “Ice Grill” someone is essentially that – to look aggressively at another person with a stone-cold face to let them know you’re not the one to mess with or you’re ready to fight.
“By the way, ice grill me as long as you can. Let’s have a contest. Let’s see who cracks first. I have a feeling I’m going to crack first,” she says to Nicki during the rehearsal.
During their live performance of “Feeling Myself” for the TIDAL show, several videos posted on social sharing sites such as Vine reveal that Beyonce cracked first, with Nicki laughing before the two superstars hug it out.
