Black Ops 2 Demoed on Jimmy Fallon [Watch]

On last night’s episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Activision Publishing president Eric Hirshberg dropped by to show off some all-new gameplay footage of Black Ops 2.

The gameplay footage shown during the Black Ops 2 demonstration was of one of the game’s “Strikeforce” missions, which is part of the game’s singleplayer campaign. Hirshberg explains that Black Ops 2 has a branching storyline, so players can expect different outcomes based on their successes and even their failures.

The Black Ops 2 demo was a bit brief, but we got to see a bit of standard soldier gameplay as well as a segment from the point of view of a “robot thing,” as Jimmy Fallon calls it, that is equipped with a rather nasty machine gun.

Hirshberg also let it slip during the interview that, as expected, Black Ops 2 will feature some sort of zombie mode. We don’t know anything about it, but we know it’s coming.

In case you missed it, you can check out the full Black Ops 2 demonstration in full below. Also, you can head over to this link to check out a lengthy gameplay segment from E3, in case you’re hungering for even more Black Ops 2 footage.
