Kim Kardashian’s Daughter North West Slammed In Disturbing Tweet By ‘Billboard Magazine’?

Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, has just been seemingly targeted by Billboard Magazine. However, their shocking tweet isn’t as it seems.

In what has been deemed an “out of line” tweet, the magazine appeared to compare North enjoying a lollipop to something her mother had done in the past. The Billboard tweet featuring Kim Kardashian and her daughter was quickly removed by the account, but not before tons of criticism came flooding in.

While the tweet appears to be quite shocking and sick, the child was not being compared to her mother, Kim Kardashian, but rather her father, Kanye West. As Twitchy reported on October 30, the link shared along with the tweet took readers to a Billboard Magazine article about North not liking photographers, which is something her father is known for.

After being slammed by Affinity Magazine, who claimed Billboard Magazine sexualized the child, the account shared a new tweet, which was far less offensive.

Still, followers of the magazine weren’t happy and called for the firing of whoever is in charge of Billboard Magazine’s social media operations. While the tweet wasn’t necessarily meant to offend the masses, it was certainly a careless mistake, and one the magazine may receive backlash for in the days that follow.

Even hours after the tweet, which claimed the “apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” was shared, Twitter users continue to weigh in on the issue.

Janet Mock, the host of MSNBC’s So Popular, shared the following comments in regard to the mix-up.

Billboard Magazine issued an apology to fans and readers hours ago in regard to their prior tweet, which read, “We apologize for the tweet involving North West. The caption was about her comments to paparazzi. The suggestion some see was not intended.”

In response to the apology, some fans slammed the magazine for making the mistake on purpose in order to generate buzz, while others were appalled by their insinuation that the mistake was made not by those behind the magazine, but rather the readers who assumed the tweet meant something it did not. Others called the magazine “gross” and accused them of lying about the ordeal.

In other Kim Kardashian news, the reality star was recently discussed by her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, during an interview with Time Magazine. After being named as one of the magazine’s most influential teenagers, Jenner spoke of why her app has been more successful than the app of her older sister.

“[Kim Kardashian]’s older, she has a different fanbase, and she’s also—the difference between our apps is hers is very perfect. It’s simple, everything is black and white. Mine is more, I invite the cameras over and say, ‘Oh, hey, let’s just do this.’ We do makeup tutorials and I’m laughing and talking. I know my fans are my age or younger than me, so I just like to show my personality and show my fans my home and my dogs. I get really personal. I’m on Snapchat, and I’m just like them at the end of the day. [Kim Kardashian]’s more private. She has kids. It’s just different.”
