Leah Remini’s Revelations On Tom Cruise And Scientology Just Got Creepier

Last night was the interview on 20/20 with Leah Remini about her tortured time in Scientology. Remini has written a book to tell the story of how after leaving the church, she was stalked by other Scientologists.

Troublemaker is reporting that Remini has had enough of hearing from the Church of Scientology that somehow their intrusion in her life is her fault. But now she is telling revelations about the life of Tom Cruise, and how Katie Holmes was allegedly forced into a relationship with him, according to the Inquisitr. She claimed that Cruise is imbalanced, and well, nuts, and certainly not a good representative of the religion.

Her mother got Remini and her sister involved in Scientology, and essentially kept most hours away from family. They were told that Scientology made the family special, and they were going to save the world.

USA Today reports on what people learned from the 20/20 special where she gives a tease of Troublemaker.

“Later, both sisters faced ethics charges for getting involved with boys and narrowly avoided being sent into the Rehabilitation Project Force, the church’s re-education camp.”

And Remini and her sister were punished.

“You have to wear black. You have to run everywhere you go. You have to call everyone ‘sir.’ … So it’s pretty severe punishment for an adult, not to mention a child.”

And this craziness continued throughout Remini’s time in the church, along with punishment fees. Then came Tom Cruise’s alleged nuttiness, like the time she was summoned by the church in the middle of the night to go to Cruise’s home and teach him salsa dancing. Yes, emergency salsa lessons.

“Tom Cruise summoned Remini to teach him and then-girlfriend Katie Holmes salsa dancing. She got a call from Cruise’s Scientology handler asking her to come to his house to give dancing lessons to the new couple.”

Remini found Cruise’s behavior disgusting as he was “forcibly kissing” Katie Holmes.

“He was like forcibly kissing Katie and I said, ‘Hey, get a fricking room.’ And well, I was written up for that, and I had to go into session for it.”

Vanity Fair is also discussing the information shared by ABC and Remini last night. She said she watched the famous episode of Oprah, where according to Remini, Tom Cruise made a fool of himself.

“What the hell is this guy doing? We need to rein it in, we need to stop all this, and he just need to be an actor, and he needs to just [closed-mouth gesture]. I was immediately dealt with.”

Remini also claims that the Church of Scientology wanted to recruit Remini’s friend Jennifer Lopez, and thought Remini was standing in their way.

“I can only assume because they wanted to make Jennifer a Scientologist,” she told ABC’s Dan Harris. “Maybe I was barring that road for them?”

The wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Remini believes, exposed the biggest failures of the church.

“I now see where the cracks are in our church,” she said of her mindset after the Cruise-Holmes wedding. “It’s David Miscavige, it’s Tom Cruise, they were bringing Scientology down.”

Remini is promising to reveal far more with the book, released on Monday. Scientology is allegedly hot to discredit her, and they seem very scared of what is coming.
