Meghan King Edmonds Adored By Lauri Peterson: What Does Jeana Keough Think?

Meghan King Edmonds joined The Real Housewives of Orange County and quickly started rattling some feathers. Meghan knew someone who was battling cancer, so when Brooks Ayers’ cancer stories didn’t match up, Meghan King Edmonds didn’t back down. She started making calls and getting some information that simply pushed the idea that Brooks was lying about having cancer.

The opinions about Meghan King Edmonds have been split down the middle. Some viewers think she is going way too far in proving a point, and she could possibly be breaking some laws. Others think that it is refreshing that Meghan is challenging Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers on their stories, as former wives may have believed the stories without questioning anything.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is getting support from former housewives, Lauri Peterson and Lynne Curtin. The two former housewives sat down alongside Jeana Keough to do an interview with Andy Cohen. Since Meghan has rattled the franchise, the former wives were asked about her role on the show.

“I love her tenacity,” Lauri said, while Lynne added that she’s always enjoyed hanging out with Meghan, sharing, “I love her. I have fun with her. I’ve always had fun with Meghan. She’s smart.”

Of course, Lauri and Vicki haven’t always gotten along. Peterson returned for a brief appearance a few seasons ago, and hinted to Gretchen Rossi that Vicki was lying about her sex life. She hinted that she had spotted Vicki in bed with another woman — and another man. Gunvalson has hinted that she is no fan of Lauri, so it really isn’t surprising that Lauri loves seeing Vicki challenged by Meghan King Edmonds.

With that said, Jeana Keough isn’t too keen on Meghan. She thinks that Edmonds is simply too young to be on The Real Housewives of Orange County and would be better off filming the show alongside Briana.

“Meghan is beautiful, but her age is so much different than the other women,” Jeana Keough revealed, but added, “I think she should have been in a series with [Vicki’s daughter] Briana and Meghan, the younger whatever, because those women don’t want to hang out with her. It’s none of her business to be going after Brooks like that and making herself look kind of crazy.”

As it turns out, Meghan King Edmonds and Briana actually did bond while filming The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, and it wasn’t surprising, since they are very close in age. But, Lauri and Lynne may also like Meghan because she stands up for what she believes is right. After the reunion aired, Meghan was quick to share her thoughts in regard to Tamra Barney’s custody issues. During the reunion, Vicki was caught mocking Tamra’s custody situation and teased that Barney’s behavior could make her lose custody of more children.

“My heart also aches for Tamra,” Edmonds wrote in her blog, as reported by Radar Online, adding, “I can’t imagine the pain she must have felt when she found out that her supposed good friend, Vicki, made such horrid comments regarding her custody and fitness as (a) mother. And this comes on the heels of Vicki saying, ‘That’s all Simon’ when Tamra was discussing how Sidney has cut off contact with her. Vicki said that her custody comment was said ‘in jest,’ but I don’t think that the word ‘jest’ can apply to that comment. I believe ‘caustic cynicism’ would be a more appropriate description to explain the depth of its maliciousness intent – don’t you agree?”

At this point, Meghan King Edmonds is still waiting for an apology from Vicki Gunvalson, who insulted Hayley Edmonds. While Meghan herself doesn’t want the apology, she does want Vicki to take responsibility and apologize to Hayley.
