Anna Duggar Refuses Father-In-Law’s New Mansion Offer, Wants ‘Real Healing’

Anna Duggar, wife of the eldest of the Duggar siblings, has reportedly refused a gift that was offered in order to save her shaky relationship with husband Josh.

According to the report, TV personality Jim Bob Duggar, 50, offered her daughter-in-law a 3,800-square foot mansion for her family, including Josh Duggar and their four children.

The house is reportedly made of brick, and its 3,800-square foot floor area is built on two acres of land. A report said that Jim Bob implied to Anna that she would get the house for herself and her children if she chooses to stay with Josh. Based on the report, the house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and is worth $345,000. In addition, the mansion is just an eight-minute walk from the Duggar compound.

This came after reports that the couple has sold their Arkansas home to a friend, Travis Story. Tabloid reports assumed that this move could mean that they are heading for divorce. However, in spite of the kind gesture, a source exclusively told Hollywood Life that the 27-year-old mother refused the offer and that she does not want to “put on the happy family show” just to please her in-laws. She also said that she is considering her options and that what she needs is “real healing.”

A report previously said that Anna and her husband Josh, 27, could be getting a divorce following scandals surrounding the eldest Duggar child. Several months ago, news broke out that Josh had sexually harassed her sisters when he was in his teens. To make things worse, his name appeared in a recent hack of the Ashley Madison database, a dating website that promotes adultery.

As a result, Anna is reportedly contemplating divorce due to the disgusting affairs her husband has gotten himself into.

Earlier this month, porn star Danica Dillon revealed that she and Josh Duggar had several sexual encounters in the past and that she considers these encounters as “violent.” Shortly after, another porn star said that she also had a physical relationship with Josh during the time when Anna was pregnant.

This porn addiction and cheating allegations have reportedly made Anna feel “disgusting.”

“Anna is a loving woman and a devout Christian, but given what Josh has done, no one would be surprised if she decided she never wanted to see him again,” said the source.

In addition, Anna has brought her children to her parents’ house in Florida to get away from Josh and the issue for the meantime. Her siblings reportedly want her to stay there so she would have a clear head when making tough decisions, like divorce. Meanwhile, Josh has reportedly begged Anna not to leave, and showed his willingness to change by undergoing a faith-based rehab. His wife is reportedly “very encouraged by his progress in therapy.”

While Jim Bob’s offer may be considered generous, the insider said that he is already desperate to prevent a divorce, which could taint the family’s wholesome image. Aside from the fact that Anna Duggar has reportedly refused the offer, other Duggar siblings have reportedly set their sights on the mansion as well.

“Some of Josh’s siblings have voiced their hopes that they could live in the home. Nobody has directly challenged Jim Bob’s plan to have Anna move in, but you can feel some of the other kids want it for themselves,” an insider stated.

Meanwhile, an article written by Michelle Duggar, Josh’s mother, stated that wives should always be ready to “meet the intimacy needs” of her husband. Even if she’s exhausted, tired, or big and pregnant, she should be “joyfully available for him.”
