Joe Odom Wasn’t Banned From Lamar Odom’s Hospital Room By Khloe Kardashian: Who Kept Him Off Visitor List?

Joe Odom spoke to TMZ last night, claiming to have been banned from his son Lamar Odom’s hospital room at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. According to the October 29 report, Joe Odom was angry and frustrated after finding out that he wasn’t on the list of approved visitors, who were allowed to see his ailing child.

“I’m mad, I’m upset because this is the second time I came to see my son and they won’t let me see my son, and, you know, it’s a lot of sabotage things going on. Like, why can’t I see my son, I brought him into the world!”

According to Joe Odom, he placed a phone call to Boulevard Management, who reportedly represent his son, Lamar, and was told he had been approved for a visit. However, when it came time for the visit, Joe Odom was informed that he was not on the list after all. Joe Odom continued on, claiming that while he wasn’t allowed in, other guests, who weren’t even related to Lamar, were able to see him.

Then, when asked who was in charge of the visitor list, Joe Odom alleged it was “Khloe Kardashian,” and went on to say that he hasn’t been able to see his son in four days, or speak with him over the phone.

Although Joe Odom sounded quite sure that it was Kardashian who had blocked him from seeing his son, a second TMZ report revealed that was not the case, as she isn’t in charge of who comes and goes.

“Lamar Odom is doing well enough that he’s making his own decisions at the hospital, including who gets in to visit him — so Khloe Kardashian had nothing to do with [Joe Odom] getting turned away,” TMZ reported on October 29.

TMZ sources claimed Joe Odom’s son’s recovery had progressed to the point where he was able to communicate with his doctors and make his own decisions in both his treatment, and, allegedly, his visitor list.

“That’s why Khloe finally decided to leave the hospital a few days ago,” the site continued. “As for what went down when Joe Odom went to the hospital — we’re told Khloe was not even there at the time… so, if anyone blocked Lamar’s dad, it was most likely Lamar himself.”

Also during his interview with TMZ, Joe Odom claimed to have been spending time with son Lamar “every other day” when he was in Las Vegas.

Prior to his hospitalization, Lamar was spending time at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada, where he was allegedly using drugs and sleeping with the working women. According to a TMZ report on October 13, Joe Odom’s son arrived to the ranch on a Saturday, and was found unconscious, with mucus running out of his nose and mouth on the following Tuesday. Right away, staffers called 911, and Lamar was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was said to be in a coma, with many of his vital organs failing.

As soon as news broke of Lamar’s condition, Kardashian and her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, and mother, Kris Jenner, flew to Las Vegas via private jet, and in the days that followed, Kardashian didn’t leave his bedside. In fact, the reality star stayed with Joe Odom’s son until this past Sunday, when she left the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to attend the baby shower of her sister, Kim.
