Corey Simms Baby Name Revealed: What Is The ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star And His Wife Miranda Naming Their Child?

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, had a tough season on Teen Mom 2 Season 6. Throughout the year, the couple was accused of not being supportive of Leah Messer, and failing to do what was best for Corey Simms’ daughters, Ali and Aleeah.

According to Corey Simms and Miranda, they were simply protecting their child from Messer, whom they believed was on drugs, and while they didn’t want to cut her out of the girls’ life completely, they felt they should have more control over the transportation of the children to and from school, and to and from Ali’s physical therapy appointments.

Throughout the show, Messer’s behavior with the girls grew increasingly worrisome, and at one point, Messer, whose second husband, Jeremy Calvert, claimed she was dealing with a “prescription pill problem,” appeared to be passing out while holding her brother’s baby. Luckily, a friend stepped in and took the child as Messer attempted to regroup herself before flying out of statement for treatment a couple episodes later.

Although Messer has continuously denied allegations of drug use, Corey Simms recently saw redemption when he was named as her twins’ primary custodian, which leaves him and Miranda in charge of the girls during the week, and Messer in charge on the weekends.

As they take on more control of Ali and Aleeah, Corey Simms and his wife are preparing for his third child’s arrival in January. During Season 6 of Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms and Miranda were seen announcing the news of their new baby to his twins, who had mixed emotions due to the upcoming stinky diapers they will surely be exposed to.

On October 28, days after Corey Simms’ wife’s baby shower, Us Weekly revealed Corey Simms and his wife were naming their daughter Remi.

Since Season 6 of Teen Mom 2 wrapped, Corey Simms and Miranda have stepped away from the prying eye of MTV fans. Weeks ago, Corey Simms deleted his Twitter account, and before he did, his wife made hers private.

In the past, Corey Simms has spoken out against his ex-wife, Messer, most recently to explain his and Miranda’s allegations against her during a particular scene from the show, in which he accused her of having and hiding a drug problem.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done,” Corey Simms explained on Twitter in late August. “We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

Corey Simms and Miranda have starred together on the show for the last couple of seasons of Teen Mom 2, but after Season 6 wrapped filming, Life & Style reported Corey Simms had quit the show. According to a source, the drama he and his wife Miranda were dealt due to Messer’s behavior and backlash from fans simply wasn’t worth the money. So far, however, Corey Simms’ exit has yet to be confirmed by MTV.
