Kate Middleton Admits Prince George Was More Interested In Pigeons Than Dinosaurs At Natural History Museum

Kate Middleton admitted that when she took Prince George to the Natural History Museum to look at dinosaurs, her son, and the third heir to the British monarchy, was actually more interested in the pigeons outside.

Kate Middleton spoke at length about her eldest child during her recent trip to the charity Chance UK, which sees at-risk children mentored by individuals across London.

During her visit, Kate Middleton spoke with 10-year-old Carl Goddard, who hails from Haringey in north London and is mentored by 29-year-old Claire Butler.

As they talked, Carl showed Kate a picture that had been taken of him at the Natural History Museum, where he stood alongside a fox. Afterwards, Carl told the Express that this provoked Kate Middleton to admit that she had recently visited the Natural History Museum with Prince George.

Carl recalled, “She was telling me that she took George to the Natural History Museum,” adding that Middleton revealed the pair had visited the museum last Thursday.

Claire continued, “She said that George was more interested in a pigeon they found there rather than all the amazing exhibits. Carl told her about the fox that he saw and she was interested in that.”

Another pair that Kate Middleton spoke to during her visit to Chance UK was 9-year-old Faith Buchanan as well as her mentor 33-year-old Elizabeth Little. Faith presented a picture of a princess that she had drawn and cut out during a recent trip the young girl had made to the Museum of Childhood.

Middleton let out a snigger when she saw that Faith had written down the qualities that she believed a princess should possess on the back of the image.

Later, Elizabeth explained, “We pointed out one of the qualities is special powers and she wished she had special powers.”

Faith Buchanan then revealed that Kate Middleton offered further insight into Prince George and what the 2-year-old is interested in by adding, “We were talking about insects and she said George likes them. She said George’s favorite was the ladybird.”

Elizabeth went on to discuss just how mesmerizing it was to actually meet the Duchess of Cambridge but admitted that she didn’t actually get too much time to speak to her.

“It was amazing to meet her,” Elizabeth continued. “Faith did all the talking, she was great and (the Duchess) was really interested in the charity. She seems very interested in early intervention which is what the charity does. It’s great that she’s able to come here and learn more about the work we do.”

Kate Middleton has been working rather tirelessly over the last few days. On Monday, she visited BAFTA at Piccadilly in central London, where she attended the premiere for Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas.

Alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, Kate Middleton partook in a variety of games, including helping to mold her own models, and she even recorded a small clip for an animated video.

Later that evening, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry attended the world premiere for Spectre, the latest James Bond film.

On Tuesday night, Kate Middleton then visited the 100WHF London Gala, which was for the benefit of The Art Room.
