Jared Fogle Brags About Being With Children On Recorded Tapes: ‘It Felt Good’

Former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle was recorded bragging about having sexual relationships with minors. This is just one piece in a larger story that has Fogle at the center of child-pornography and sex-crime charges.

According to the New York Post, Fogle was recorded “bragging” about “having” boys. In a conversation with journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond, Fogle, who wasn’t aware she was posing as a friend for over four-and-a-half years, told Rochelle how they would be able to “get some young kids.”

“I would fly us clear across the world if we need to. To Thailand or wherever we want to go. If we’re gonna try to get some young kids with us it would be a lot easier.”

During the conversation, Fogle talked about his experiences with young children, telling the undercover journalist, “I had a little boy. It was amazing. It just felt so good. I mean, it felt — it felt so good.”

When the undercover journalist asked Fogle which he preferred, boys or girls, Jared answered point blank, “Both of them.”

Herman-Walrond, who says she felt like a victim for having to endure the conversations, at one point was asked by Fogle about her own children and their friends.

“Are there any of your kids’ friends that you think are pretty hot? What if we put a camera in your kids’ room, would they be OK with that?”

Of the operation, the former Florida journalist said that she had to be two different people to trick Jared Fogle. The two met in 2006 on her radio show, and she became invested when Fogle made a comment on her show that he thought middle school girls were “hot.” Soon after that, the two became “friends.” She turned over four years of conversations with Jared to the FBI, which led to criminal charges.

As the Inquisitr reported, Jared Fogle recently made a groundbreaking plea deal with the victims in his case. According to the Huffington Post, Fogle will pay $1.4 million in restitution to the identified victims — 14 in total. If convicted, Fogle will face up to 14 years in prison. This deal is particularly groundbreaking because it’s the most money ever paid out.

Out of the 14 victims, eight are still minors, and the others are “now adults in desperate straits,” according to the Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven DeBrota.

“You can imagine — life situation in general: Parents who were not particularly supportive, no financial means to even carry on with some of life’s basic necessities.”

According to a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Indianapolis, some families had multiple victims.

Back in August, Jared Fogle pled guilty to child porn charges after FBI raided Fogle’s home in July after a long-term investigation of the former Subway spokesperson. Additionally, Russell Taylor, who was a former executive director of the Jared Foundation, Fogle’s charity, was also arrested. Taylor was arrested in April and subsequently charged with child exploitation, possession of child pornography, and voyeurism. Police said they found 500 photos in Taylor’s home. As for Fogle, computers and DVDs were taken in for investigation.

Subway said they no longer had a relationship with Fogle, and his wife filed for divorce.

Tapes from the shocking conversation will be aired on a two-part episode of Dr. Phil on Thursday and Friday. It’s not known how Dr. Phil’s production team got a hold of the tapes, but Dr. Phil does plan to address the topic of sex with minors.
