Kourtney Kardashian’s Kids Visit Scott Disick In Rehab With Kris Jenner, But Caitlyn Is Nowhere To Be Seen

Kourtney Kardashian’s kids paid a visit to their father, Scott Disick, in rehab on Sunday. According to an October 26 report by Entertainment Tonight, Kris Jenner, 59, took Kourtney Kardashian’s kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, to the Malibu facility, where Disick is currently addressing issues with substance abuse, after attending the baby shower of her daughter, Kim Kardashian.

Over two weeks ago, Disick, 32, entered treatment. Although it is unclear whether or not the intervention seen in the new Keeping Up With The Kardashians sneak peek was what led him to do so, the timing certainly seems to fit, and due to his strained relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, it makes sense that he’d want to get help.

“He is doing better. He has cut out a lot of the bad influences in his life, and is trying to focus on getting back to normal,” a source close to the Kardashian family told People Magazine on October 26. “He’s still got the demons; they haven’t gone away. But now he recognizes that he has those demons, which is a big step for Scott. He hasn’t acknowledged his struggles before, not in a meaningful way. He’s always just wanted to hold on and hope that he’ll do okay. Now he’s digging deeper.”

Over the summer, after spending nine years together, Kourtney Kardashian and Disick parted ways after photos of him canoodling with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli, hit the web. At the time, Disick appeared to be partying hard, and in the Season 11 sneak peek for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian was seen telling him that he often doesn’t remember what he does during a binge.

Luckily, according to People Magazine‘s source, Disick appears to have made a positive change while in rehab.

“He’s in a different place,” the source said. “The question is whether this is a permanent change or something temporary. Only Scott can answer that.”

While Kourtney Kardashian was in attendance at her sister’s baby shower on Sunday, she did not take part in her kids’ visit with Disick, and neither did Jenner’s ex, Caitlyn, who was at the shower, as well.

For the last several years, Disick has attempted to get his alcohol abuse in check by going to rehab a reported four times. Most recently, Disick sought treatment in March.

“Scott needs to feel a responsibility for himself and his kids,” People Magazine‘s source added. “He is getting there. It needs to not be about making [Kourtney Kardashian] happy, which is what he has always focused on. He knows he needs to focus on doing what’s right because it’s right. He needs to realize that everything about his kids is his responsibility.”

As Disick attempts to tame his demons once and for all, Kourtney Kardashian continues to care for their three children, the youngest of which she gave birth to just months before Disick was caught with Bartoli. Kourtney Kardashian has also been busy supporting her younger sister, Kourtney Kardashian, whose husband, Lamar Odom, was recently hospitalized after an alleged overdose near Las Vegas. For the last couple of weeks, Kourtney Kardashian has helped the family deal with their responsibilities as Khloe focuses solely on Odom.
